FLiFLi AirDrop FAD-1000ST Release and Drop Device for DJI Phantom 4 Only (Standard)

Works great. Throws off the CG though. It has great range really no complaints other than CG issue.

I bought this so that I could drop a pull rope over the high branch of a tree so I could pull up a vertical longwire antenna. I did that in Aug 2018. The rope finally gave way last week and yesterday I repeated the process, wondering if the Fli-Fli would still work after sitting for a year. I charged the remote and the unit and they both worked! Charging the units is a little counterintuitive, as there are no lights indicating charging. You just have to go on faith that they are connected and charging. But pressing the power button once will give you the state of the battery with four LEDs that mimick the DJI drone battery LEDs. I flew my antenna raising mission yesterday morning and actually did it twice because the first branch I used wasn't strong enough and both times the Airdrop system worked on the first press of the button. Very useful tool!

I purchased the FliFli drop system to use with my Phantom 4. I used it a couple of times with no problem. I went to use it again and now the remote will not work unless it is plugged in to charge even when it has full battery. The main button on the remote most of the time shows solid red, different from when the release is open. I have tried contacting FlIFli several times about the issue and they have not responded. They only used my email to add me to their annoying mass email list for advertising new products. If FliFli would like to finally respond, I would consider removing this poor review. I have tried to get back on their website and it seems like it isn't working either. I am very annoyed by the lack of response. As of right now, it is a waste of money and I would not purchase another since it only lasted 3 months and only used 3 days of those three months.

Very good unit, built well, works good except that the mount that you install on the drone needs to be redesigned. The servo unit slides into a slot and "clips" into the mount, but the "clip" isn't strong enough to hold it in. with a gentle tug I was able to pull the servo right off the mount without even pushing in the tab. I had to use a cable tie to secure the drop mechanism to the mount. On my 3rd flight my cargo dropped without pushing the button, then I realized it was the cargo AND the servo drop mechanism. Luckily I was lifting a nerf football which somewhat cushioned the fall over asphalt. It did get a few cracks in it, and the drop mechanism wouldn't open all the way, but after taking it apart I got it to work properly again. DO NOT use this without securing the unit to the mount or the same thing will happen to you!

Overall it was a good product, it tends to take multiple button pressing to get the device to work. But other then that it’s a cool addition to the drone.

Perfect. Don’t go with any other knock up. This is as close as you get to a DJI product. Easy to use and good range!

Lightweight compact and works flawlessly, pay more but get something that works or pay less and get something that doesn't work.

Mir gefällt das man nicht in die Elektrik der Drone eingreifen muss. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die Handfernbedienung die laut Hersteller 500m reicht. Ich habe für die Marvic pro leider nichts besseres gefunden .
