This is a great student art set of gouache paints perfect to get introduced to the medium. The colors blend well together to create good blending and depth. It is a great value for the money since you also get a palette and brushes and lots of different colors to try. The brushes are student grade but still usable.

This set of Paint is excellent quality. It comes in a wide variety of vivid colors that are transparent, but easily buildable and blendable. The paint dries quickly and is still bright and vibrant. We were impressed with the number of colors that came in this very large kit.

Maybe because it's my first time using a gouache, but these feel different than expected and they don't look like other gouache I've seen being used. These handle a lot more on the side of acrylic paints than water paints. Don't get me wrong, They are so beautiful, but I feel like you need a lot of it to get the vibrant color desired.I also don't have the easiest time getting them to reactivate the way I've seen other gouache do. It takes a lot of water and a lot of rubbing to get a strong pigment, and at that point I feel like you're better off just using watercolors?

If you are looking for professional colors, these may not be the colors for you. They do color nicely. They become a little dull after drying out. I purchased them for the art workshops I am going to host. Didn't want something expensive, and I think they will do their job. There are 2 types of white - titanium white, and zinc white. The zinc white is very weak, almost unseen. The titanium is much better. Haven't tried yet all the special colors of gold and silver. Overall if you are looking for gouche for beginners, this set is a good one to start with.

Love this paint set! I’d never used gouache until I tried these and now I’m hooked. It perfectly combines my love of acrylics and watercolors. I love that I can make the paint as sheer as I want or as opaque as I want, which makes layering easy. And the colors mix smoothly, and the set conveniently comes with a palette to make it easier to do that. The variety of colors is fabulous too, and I love that it came with a swatch card so I can see what the colors actually look like (and that I didn’t have to make my own). Absolutely recommend this for beginners, but the quality seems solid enough even for more advanced painters!

I bought 2 sets for my grandchildren and these were being used in their art classes.What a wonders combination of colors and just the right amount. My grandkids love them and are using them all the time. Highly recommend.
