A World within a World🌞
A powerful book which I can thoroughly recommend. I have been using switchwords for several years and have a feeling of living in a cocoon, a sense of peace, calm and harmony and connection. The words I found most powerful are “Together”, “Guard”, “Divine Love”, “Cancel/Clear”, “Reach”, “On” and “Change” and for money “Count”, “Find and “Together Count”!

It is very interesting and mind changing if you believe. The power of mind creates magic.

Odd Treasure
This book was very hard for me to get into. I wanted to stop reading after the first couple of chapters, but I forced myself to finish reading and I’m glad I did. The material is odd and confusing. It challenges some of my preexisting beliefs but it is the first book that I have read that thoroughly teaches us how to get our conscious & subconscious minds together in order to have a great life. It’s another book that tells us we hold the secret to a wonderful life, but we have to go inside ourselves and get all the machines within us back working in order to obtain a wonderful life. Instead of affirmations, the author uses SwitchWords to get the machines running again. He talks about how he used the switchword, together, to have a wonderful week but then it stopped working. He then realized there are more switchwords that must be used to get all the machines up and running again. The list is on-going. Like many self-help books, achieving one piece of the puzzle often leads to the goal post shifting even further away. For example, he says use the switchword, change, to get rid of pain. It should be as simple as just saying or thinking the switchword change right? No, he then says you must believe. But your belief at this point may be too much to ask. He even admits using the switchword change does not work if want and belief is missing. And in most instances if you can get it to work, the switchword does not bring about a cure, but only a temporary instant relief. It’s always something holding you back with these books. A belief, another step you must take, more SwitchWords, something. It can be disheartening. Chapter 12 stood out to me. But it is confusing. In this chapter, he wants us to refer to ourselves as “we” (linking conscious & subconscious together) instead of “I” which only refers to conscious. Which ideally should be easy to do in internal thoughts. But in speaking English it feels strange to constantly refer to yourself as “we” especially when talking to other people. Then fast forward a few chapters ahead, he’s using examples of affirmations with “I” instead of “We.” The author assumes the reader blames the subconscious for all mistakes. This is not true in my case. I know the conscious is the limiting factor. He also makes wild suggestions like declaring you are a coward or dumb for short periods of time to create togetherness between conscious & subconscious. I can’t get with this logic. And I can’t advise declaring yourself as dumb. Thoughts create reality, so no. The best part of the book is its overall theme for linking the conscious and subconscious together to get our dream lives. Lastly, this is not about the material in the book, but the actual book itself. The book needs to be reformatted for printing. The inner margins are way off making it hard to read the words close to spine area. This is annoying & if I were to purchase again I would purchase from a different publisher. The publisher for the book I am reviewing is Martino Fine Books.
