So fun!!
I was on the fence about ordering this because of reviews. But after getting it and putting it on my bike i realize the bad reviews are probably from people that are not mechanically inclined. You will have to most likely modify a few things so if you dont know how to use a drill for holes or an angle grinder for chopping and shortening then youre screwed and will probably write a bad review. After i put this engine on i couldnt stop riding it, it is so much fun most likely will be getting upgrades for it or saving for a 4 stroke. But overall great product definitely recommend it to anyone that is relatively smart when it comes to this sort of thing.

This engine arrived with a faulty clutch
Overall the price is right, (if the product actually worked...) unfortunately the instructions are completely shotty, and not descriptive at all. The instructions are along the lines of (if you already know what you're doing) and they have tiny pictures that you cannot even make out to explain the process of building the motor. And of course last but not least.. the clutch was faulty out of the box.vit barely worked at all when I got the bike running, and then suddenly without any cause the clutch stopped engaging the motor and it is not able to start due to the motor not turning over at all. If I can get it replaced for free, with absolutely ZERO extra payments it'd be fine because I know nothing is perfect and every product has issues in one or another of the productions. But! If a company is 3illing to replace for free any problematic parts, then I say it's awesome and worth purchasing! I will post another review when I find out if and when the company will replace the motor decently.

Update! Love hate relationship
I sent bike to a mechanic and the motor is fine. What I thought was the issue wasn't. The mechanic found the chain had broken and wedged causing the install to lock up. I will say that a draw back to ordering kits online is that they are not returnable and getting customer service is a pain. I am still leaning towards favoring the 80cc motor kit over this 100cc install. The replacement chains I'm finding are all only rated for up to 80cc. Definitely something to consider. I'm just relieved the motor wasn't hurt after all. It's got power and looks great. Replacement chain is a nightmare to find for 100cc. Will I order another kit again... Ugh I'm a glutton for punishment and probably will do it. Definitely will get another 80cc and probably will give this 100cc another go too.

THIS IS A GREAT BEGINNER ENGINE AND OUT PERFORMS WHAT I READ.
I ESPECIALLY LIKE HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTALL AND FIT TO A 29 INCH MOUNTAIN BIKE.RUNS REALLY GREAT WITH NEARLY NO ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED!!!

Great bike but small snags
The media could not be loaded. Well... it's awesome. I love this little motor setup. There are a few things I'd like to see addressed however.1. The instructions. The book had very little for guidance on how to install and hook everything up. It had a few tips and opinions in there that were kind of ok but hard to decipher unless you're mechanically inclined. The pictures could have been a bit more detailed and it wouldn't hurt to have some left and right images. I had to google several othet pictures to make sure everything was right.2. The parts packaging. It was a bit of a hassle trying to find out what screws and nuts went where since nearly all of them were in one bag.3. The controls. I know these are more for street bikes but putting this on a mountain bike is by far one of the most confusing things to deal with. The throttle screws are just nearly too short as well. Had to get a longer set of screws to thread it properly.4. The tensioner. For the love of all that is good and holy in the world. A plastic bearing is terrible. I would rather tack on an extra $10 to the cost to put an actual sprocket there instead. The plastic bearing makes the first bit of travel a jerky mess. Once it runs it's running. But if you stop you have to deal with a bit of jerking when trying to pedal every time. All in all i like it. I busted my knuckles a lot and had to pull stuff off multiple times and such but once everything was on with a bit of fine tuning and jerry rigging I got it to work nicely for my needs. 4/5 would buy again for a street bike. 3/5 for a mountain bike.

Worst quality kit ever!!!
The packaging and first appearance was excellent but upon closer inspection and teardown if the motor I found so many things wrong with it!!! The bottom of the cylinder sleeve is cracked and missing a big chunk, the port work is hideous!!! The intake and exhaust surfaces were damaged and cast horribly to the point that there's no way they would seal correctly... Piston was installed backwards and would probably cause motor to seize as well as break the piston rings. The hardware was finger tight throughout entire motor. The clutch bevel gear had no grease nor did the the clutch bucking bar and ball bearing. Also it was listed as an Amazon prime listing and it was shipped snail mail via FedEx and showed up several days later than expectedAlso listed as 100cc it's closer to 70cc by my measurements and calculationsIf this thing even runs even after cleaning up the ports and crappy gasket surfaces and doesn't self destruct I'll be amazed🤞🤞
