This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I went to the Bahamas in December and I have extremely pale skin that has not seen the sun for six months or more. Normally I would get burned being out on a boat all day, in and out of the water. For instance I got second-degree burns being out on a boat all day my last Caribbean vacation. Somehow this sunscreen allowed me to get a gorgeous golden tan and I never burned. I love the fact that it is biodegradable and reef safe. The scent is good and the protection really lasts - I maybe reapplied it 2-3x a day after being in the water. This sunscreen was so good that I left the almost-empty can with some friends from Canada rather than throw it away when I was packing to go home. They asked me to leave it. Also sunscreen normally breaks me out and this did not. This is my go-to sunscreen from now on.

Hands down the best sunscreen ever! Great feel, awesome protection, amazing scent! Worst part the spray nozzle clogs easily. 50% of the time the spray bottle fails. Please fix it! You have such a great product!

Best sunblock I’ve ever used! Not overly scented, not sticky, handled sweating in the sun for almost 8 hours. Granted breaks were taken in the shade, but I’m impressed. The old chemical stuff would have required 4-5 reallocations and I’d have still burned. This product needed one application (though I probably could have reapplied once and just didn’t). I still got a bit more color and only burned in one tiny spot on the back that I’d missed. If I could give this product 10 stars I would. Not to mention the price tag beats all the other mineral based sunblocks out there. I’m very fair skinned and burn easily even with the horrible standard chemical sunblocks. Australian Gold is liquid gold and I’ll be sure to keep purchasing so long as they don’t change the formula!

This is my favorite sunblock out there! I’ve been using it for myself and kid for 8 years. One application and you’re good to go for 12+hours. That is in and out of the water with no need to reapply. It doesn’t leave your skin sticky or greasy. I have a very sensitive neck and most things cause irritation, burning, or stinging. The Australian Gold Botanical sunscreens are my go to every summer. I recommend them to everyone and have even given a few to friend and family over the years. I truly cannot recommend it enough.

As other reviews have complained for the last 5+ YEARS. . the nozzle design is horrible. I was excited to try this sunscreen. Reef safe, not tested on animals, and reportedly, smells great. However, the spray didn't work the first time I tried it. I removed the security plastic over the nozzle, double-checked to make sure it wasn't in the locked position. . and lightly depressed the nozzle. . then. . nothing. . tried again with a little harder pressure. . only a couple of little dribbles down the can. When I tried to initiate a return to Amazon . . they sent me to Aussie Gold's website. I reported the problem to them, but I am not holding my breath for them to get back to me with a replacement that works. . I'll update my review if they do.

I researched many products before picking this sunscreen. It seems to have mostly safe ingredients. The 100% natural sunscreens all had reviews of leaving a white-chalky film on your skin. I didn't want that so I settled in this one and it works great. I work outside for hours a day. This sunscreen has help prevent weird tan lines from my work clothing all summer. The convenient spray is great for quickly reapplying. It smells good too. Note: As of when this review was written I had gotten four of these bottles (separate purchases). Out of the four one has not sprayed properly. It comes out more of a pathetic stream. I have tried running it under hot water to see if that would remove build-up and I have tried sticking a needle into the nozzle. Nothing has helped. Hasn't bothered me much, it really just means I have to rub it in for an even application. I just thought it's worth it to mention the issue.

Update 2025 - still love it. Still the onlu sunscreen I use. Literally, I never burn with this on. So thankful for this product. The lotion turns your skin a little blueish hint, and is harder to get off in the shower, but the spray is amazing. I honestly use them both all summer long I’m extremely fair complected, and most sunscreens don’t do a good job keeping me protected for more than about 30-45 minutes. This product was a game changer. We usually spend 10 days at Disney and I get the WORST burns. However, this product kept me safe on 12 hour days outside with only a few applications. It has a matte finish and isn’t greasy at all. I’ve converted my whole family to this and many friends! It really is the best! I hope they never get rid of this product; my skin has never been safer in the summer!

A single spray covers your arms, legs, ears, and face well enough to protect you all day during sweaty work and doesn't make your skin too oily. There is an initial rubbing alcohol smell, but once it clears the smell is faint but pleasant perfume. The best part about this product is you can use it in your hair! It won't get too oily. If you are a redhead and/or are prone to sun burn on the scalp at all, this by far is the best brand for the job. I recommend this to everyone. I'll also mention this bottle lasts me all year, and I have to wear sunscreen even in winter because my sun-sensitive skin.
