I have a galaxy tab S8 ultra that I just got because it is powerful enough to run many applications on the screen at the same time. The problem is when you do this it overheats. So I ordered this to protect my considerable investment. When I first turned it on I thought for sure it was going to be an epic fail, the fans barely felt like they were blowing any air. Before I used this cooler my tablet was getting up to 41 or 42 degrees Celsius very quickly when running multiple apps at the same time. Before, I had to turn my screen off for a few minutes to let it cool down every 10 minutes. Using this I can run my tablet as hard as it can go and it doesn't go over 36 degrees which is great. It works so well that if I pick my tablet up in the middle of heavy use, the back of it is ice cold. I think the aluminum body contributes a lot to this. I also love that the cooling surface is metal so my tablet sticks to it magnetically. Nice and secure. The only downside to this cooler is the usb cord they give you. It's way too short. I thought no problem, I have a USB A to USB C cord, I'll just turn it around. Nope. Turns out those types of cords only charge in one direction. Only the new usb c to usb c cords can charge in both directions. So I had to order a $3 adapter so that I can use my existing long cords. Overall I am pretty impressed with how well this works for the price. Would buy again

When I select a product, I tend to read the negative reviews first. Despite the few I saw for this cooling pad, I decided to give it a shot and was pleased to find that the item I received had none of the reported defects/limitations. It has worked just as the listing described, and is well worth the price I paid.

UPDATE: The company reached out to me and offered me a replacement. The replacement is much better! It's quiet and the cable works just fine. My complaint about the tabs still not being in an ideal location holds true. As does my complaint about the jagged metal on the underside. However I am over all happy with the replacement I was sent so I have changed my review from a 2/5 to a 4/5 for the product and a 5/5 for the customer service! If you have any issues with your cooling pad, I would recommend reaching out to them! I don’t love this cooling pad. The flaps that you can use to keep the laptop from sliding down when you have the pad angled up are too high. The area where my laptop needs the cooling the most is closer to the hinge and with the tabs up, the hinge is over the edge of the cooling pad. My laptop fits on the cooling rack just fine when the pad is flat. I addition to this, the cable that it came with isn’t great it doesn’t consistently work and gets hot. I had to swap the cable out. The fans are a bit too loud. Louder than other cooling pads I’ve used. My least favorite thing is the amount of times I’ve been cut by the metal pieces on the edges and bottom. The mesh like metal that makes up the top of the rack has MANY jagged edges around the edge (I included a photo) that are far too easy to slice your fingers on when you need to pick up/move the cooling rack. The point of a laptop is portability. The cooling pad isn’t very portable friendly.

perfect size for my macbook pro. it’s annoying that it can’t be charged, it has to be plugged in to use it, which wouldn’t be a big deal if it worked well with anything other than the usb to usb cord provided that is maybe a foot long. super annoying. it isn’t very loud but i feel like the fans could go faster. used it for a while and it worked decently, it kept the bottom of the laptop semi cool but the keyboard was still heating up which obviously makes sense but eventually my laptop started overheating so bad that it started expelling air. i’ll still use it but it’s frustrating because i was previously having to have a fan right next to my laptop blowing on the top and bottom of the bottom half but i guess now i don’t have to worry about it blowing on the bottom part, at least not for the whole time?

It is perfect for my 2 laptops! It’s quiet, easy to use and sturdy. Keeps my laptops cool as it claims, and it is priced well. I do recommend purchasing this item.

I rarely do reviews, but I need to share my experience with this cooling fan. I bought it for my 14" HP laptop, which gets very hot. When it is "on" (plugged into the USB port of my computer as directed), and I put my hand over the fan, I can barely feel any airflow. It is working, but it makes no difference to my computer. I am now going to do some serious searching for a laptop fan that actually produces some airflow to cool my laptop. EDIT: THE SELLER WAS VERY UPSET ABOUT MY REVIEW - AND FULL TRANSPARENCY - SHE OFFERED A REFUND OR A DIFFERENT PAD TO TRY, by the same brand. I CHOSE A DIFFERENT PAD AND SHE SENT THE "K1 5V laptop " cooling pad and it is amazing - a spin dial to choose how much air you want, and it has a ton of cooling power. It also has fun colors spinning around the pad (which you can turn off) - It is much sturdier and if you are looking for a cooling pad, get this one. I have had a lot of laptop cooling pads over the years, and this is the best I have ever had. It is a tad big for a 14" laptop, but I still love it!!!!

The pad does exactly what it's designed to do. My laptop MSI gf65 was running hot, this pad reduced the temp by 15-20 degrees Celsius. The different fan speeds and modes are very useful for gaming/regular tasks in terms of noise and cooling. Very happy.

Like the red color. Fans are strong which is good.

Keeps my MacBook Air cool and adjusts to a comfort level. Very sturdy and quper quiet. Would recommend this unit.
