Way higher quality than expected
The coin is sturdy, which I expected. The printing on the color portions is flawless, which was more than I expected. What really struck he is the almost iridescent sheen on the face as you move the coin under light. It appears matte in low light but catches direct light in an almost holographic way. Great coin.
I originally started buying the military challenge coins to give out to our vet friends and other vets we meet at the market and so forth. Now, after seeing how many different versions and topics they cover, I collect them. These have great feel in the hand and the colors are very nice.

Small but detailed.
I expected a larger coin because of all the details that I can see on the pictures. It is the same size as all the other challenge coins. It is finely detailed. The months around the edge are in such small fonts, that they look a bit distorted under magnification. It is a beautiful and detailed coin.
