Overall good experience.
The pen is exactly as mentioned. A stub nib 1.0 mm.Quality 10/10U expect nothing less from pilot pens. The packing could have been better though.

Excellent pen
Pilot Metropolitans are consistently excellent. This is no exception.

Favorite Pen
This is the best pen you can get for the price! It was my first fountain pen when I was becoming interested in them and I have acquired a few more since but this one is still my favorite. It writes beautifully and I love the metal body, it gives it a quality feel. Comes with a squeeze convertor included so you don't have to worry about picking that up separately.

Improves the Look of your Handwriting
This fountain pen has turned me onto different size nibs and now I'm addicted! I love the Pilot Metropolitan to begin with, but the stub nib is awesome. It makes my terrible handwriting look much better. And it doesn't take any special use or practice. Ink it and write. I highly recommend this pen.

I got a calligraphy nib
This is my third pilot metropolitan fountain pen. Love the turquoise color. BUT it came with a calligraphy nib! The marking on the nib even says <CM>. Fortunately I can swap it out for a different nib. I’ll keep the pen tho because it’s pretty - not worth returning the whole pen itself.

Hard to beat this value
If you're just getting into fountain pens, it's hard to go wrong with a Pilot fine nib. Better nibs alone would cost at least as much as this entire pen.I do wish they'd retire the included squeeze converter. It's... Okay I guess. But you can't see inside to see if you've got a full load or only drops left which isn't ideal if you're taking these, for example, to work where you don't have a spare ink bottle to refill. I'd be much happier if they bundled in the CON-40 converter or relaunched an updated version of the CON-50 instead.
