COTU (R) Nail Buffer Block and 2 x American Classic Gelous Nail Gel Base Coat Combo Bundle

I'm always hesitant to buy beauty products on Amazon as I'm worried about counterfeits, but these worked just like the Gelous bottles I've bought at the ubiquitous beauty supply store that starts with an S. Minus one star for the buffer -- it's not very durable, and I didn't need it -- I'd rather just be able to buy the Gelous alone, but even with the buffer, these two bottles are cheaper than I can easily get them elsewhere without having to place a large order on a beauty supply site. I use a layer of Gelous in between coats of sheer polish, shimmer polish, glitter polish, and anything I'm worried might drag on subsequent coats (you know the annoying thing that happens when you place the brush down onto a previous layer and it mars it, if you're not perfect in your technique? This prevents that if you use it between layers of color.) It also provides gorgeous depth to help illuminate and enhance shimmers and glitter polishes. It is NOT fast drying as a top coat, but if you google or look on Pinterest, you will find reference to many people's preferred methods -- some only use it between layers of color, some use it on top of the final layer of color, then apply a fast-drying top coat that's designed to be applied to wet polish, some (like me), use it only between color layers then top the final color layer with a fast-drying top coat. Using this, and capping the tips at every layer, I can get 1-2 weeks out of regular nail polish.

I really like this for my nails and the combo was an absolute bargain! Works really well for me and I love the shiny look that it gives. I get about a week's wear out of it when I add two layers of polish and two top coats. Only downside is that it can dent easily even after a few hours but other than that it works the way I wanted it to. The buffer Block was a nice addition.Edit : Just had to add an update that I still love the product. Two bottles lasted about six months for me. So I did a reorder but I have to say I wish they would tape the bottles shut before shipment because I lost almost 25% of the product inside the bubble bag that it was packed in. Just FYI.

Wonderful nail polish! My nails are ridiculously soft so they bend and break all the time. This nail polish really strengthens them. I actually have long nails. I like to put down one or two coats, then I use what ever color polish I want and end it with another two to three clear coats. Sometimes I’ll just do 3-5 clear coats alone. I swear by this polish! The matte is just as great!

I'm a nail blogger, and I have tried a TON of base coats. This one is my FAVORITE. Prior to using this product, my nails were rather flimsy and peeled. I've been using the gelous base coat exclusively beneath all my manicures for around six months now -- and I will never use anything else. My nails are stronger and much, MUCH longer.

I'm absolutely addicted to Gealous. I have the thinnest weakest nails and this is the only product that allows me to have a manicure with stronger nails. I have my nails in water a lot so it doesn't last longer than a few days to a week depending upon the nail polish i wear with it. I typically use OPI or Essie polish with it.

Nail buffer block leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve used the Helios product before and love it. Problem was both bottles had leaked in shipping. I purchased before from Sally beauty several times and did not have this problem

This polish is my manicure keeper. It is key to a great manicure and I can keep it for at least seven days! I add another coat around day 3 or 4, and I can usually keep a fresh. 💅🏿

Gift for my mother. She loved it. I’ve used this stuff in the past. Great way to get a salon look at home if you layer with your polish.
