Great scent but be aware that this is photosensitive as it is not modified or bergeron-free. It could harm the skin if you exposed to UV light. Sun Sensitivity: Bergaptene is phototoxic, meaning it reacts with ultraviolet light and sunlight. Applying pure, untreated bergamot oil to the skin before sun exposure can cause severe skin irritation, blistering, redness, and dark spots.

This is my first time purchasing or using an essential oil in its pure state. So, I am no expert. I bought this Bergamot oil to improve the scent of a somewhat unpleasantly scented beard oil, and that is exactly what it did. It worked out. Smell is strong and full of Betgamotto goodness. Although I unknowingly added a very high concentration of the Bergamot oil, there was no adverse reaction with my skin. No irritation whatsoever. So, I believe this is the good, clean product (organic) as stated on the label.

Used it in my own personal made cologne of: white musk, sandalwood, clary sage, and bergamot. For this use it worked pretty well and it was even usable in soaps, the fresh citrus smell from bergamot can pair with many other scents well and it'd probably be great in a oil diffusion machine too.

Does it relieve physical pain? Some say it helps with headaches, but I didn't use it for that, so I'm not sure. I used it for escapism. Don't judge. The soothing fragrance instantly transported me to a serene oasis, where relaxation and housework-amnesia reigned supreme--and that, my friends, was good for my mind and spirit. For an extra dose of aromatic pleasure, I took it up a notch by sipping on some Earl Grey tea (the double-bergamot kind) while luxuriating in my warm Epsom salt bath scented with bergamot. The quality of this essential oil is truly first rate. Its pure aroma lingers in the air for an impressively long time. Now that I am the owner of this magical bottle of bergamot goodness, I can be enveloped in its delightful scent and forget about housework any time I choose!

Deliciously limelike citrus blast. I mix it with rose for a personal scent. This one is very fresh and intense.

Good value for the size, but you can tell is not as high quality as some other essential oils. my favourite is aura cacia and although this smells similar the scent wears off in about 5 minutes when applied to skin.
