Worked great as replacement slats for an IKEA BEDDINGE convertible futon from the 2010s (maybe a bit earlier? It's old enough that IKEA doesn't stock the parts anymore). I cut them down to size using a hand saw, and used a Dremel to soften the edges. You might not even need to do this last step, and even if you do, you could use a sandpaper or something similar. Note that these are curved slats, and I intentionally bought this because the existing undamaged ones were curved. Some beds and couches use flat slats!

Thin and flimsy and also was too long to fit my kids twin size bed. Had to cut 1.5-2 inches off the boards and lay them flat instead of on their side like the ones that are already on his bed

These are arched to take the weight load of my butt. I only had to trim a bit off and then bend and insert.

We had 2 slats on our bed broken and bought these as replacements. These were too long for our bed, so we trimmed them with a circular saw. It’s decent quality wood and doesn’t splinter as much

This was a convenient solution when our original slats of an inexpensive bed we purchased for our guestroom cracked. I don't feel the quality was an improvement over the ones that broke but so far, they've held up.

Slat dimensions are as advertised. Desc says they are bowed and they are. Bow was greater than anticipated, so only 3 stars. Amount of bow should have been stated in desc. Individual slats appear to be of high quality. Engineered wood is strong, but will have little if any flex. Hope they don't snap at some point.

If you own a Winnebago RV you are well aware some seats and beds use these wooden slats to support the bottom section of the frame. If you break one they are impossible to find locally. These came quickly and can be easily cut to fit multiple size replacements.
