I used this carb. In 30/31 &34 pict & it working very well without any problems.
If you're fuel pump is the mechanical pump there's no problem with this carburettor.
If your pump is electric,you have to check the pump pressure, maybe the pump give high pressure.

**Q: Appears to have an adapter plate for smaller 53 to 68mm intake flange.  Will it work for both?**
A: I RETURNED THIS CARBURETOR IT WAS OFF SET WOULD NOT WORK ON MY 72 SUPER BEETLE
