Schwinn Meridian

Well-made machine constructed of quality materials. Does not have that "made in China" feel about it. All the parts, welds and fit are first rate. Assembled by myself in about an hour. Rides well. The single speed is geared perfectly for the flat land where I live. If you have any hills at all, I would defiantly buy the 7 speed model. Outstanding bargain at under $400. I did not put the fenders on because I will not be riding in the rain and I feel they will end up getting beat up and bent from normal use. Not because of poor quality but because of being in the garage with all the other garage activities. Great machine. You will have to adjust the center on the front brakes. I looked on YouTube for a tutorial.

I’m a fan of the fact that the pedals are further forward than any other bike on the market. This makes for a full upright back position peddling. This bike is very hard to make up hills without the seven speed design. I wasn’t able to purchase a shifting bike because my wife uses his bike and she can’t understand the shifting after having a stroke. I find that I have to to help push her up the hills. I believe that this is the best made bike on the market. I plan to purchase a power front wheel for our bikes as soon as I can afford to..I also have the same bike that I bought used and I will put a power wheel on it as well to help us up the hills. We’re both senior citizens.

Was shipped properly and easy to put together good quality worth it

Installation was fairly easy. But can't finger out what causes the clanking noise which occurs only when the rear driving wheel (connected by the secondary chain) turns. I also noticed that the driving wheel is probably preinstalled out of the box too tight because it stop turning fairly quickly when paddling stop. The other freewheel turns very smoothly and keeps spinning for much longer time (about 15 to 20 times longer) after stop padding. In addition to the clanking noise, there also seemed to be another axle related turning issue (noise+movement/vibration).

I love my Schwinn Meridian adult trike! It is beautiful, sturdy, and just the right size for me. I am 5’4” and the 26” bike works perfectly for me. It was fairly easy to assemble, one speed which makes it easy to handle for me, since I am on flat ground. I could see the need for three speeds if your biking on hilly terrain. I got the blue, which is a lovely cobalt color. The basket is perfect for “ farm chores”. And I got a great price for buying a damaged box( it had been inspected and all parts were accounted for)

Pros: Study, excellent quality. Installation was straight-forward following Schwinn video on YouTube. Although you may find an extra pair of hands helpful. Love riding it now that is fully assembled! Cons: Putting the secondary chain on was tricky-the two connectors were hard to snap in place and bent. Suggest 2nd set be included. Biggest con-delivery time. 3rd order was finally accepted. First was returned, because item shipped has already been opened. For 2nd, received message from Amazon that the order had been cancelled- 'something had occurred during shipping.' Neither of these cons are a reason not to buy. Schwinn makes an amazing trike.

The bike was overall not impossible put to put together but the pictures in the guide could have been better. My issue is that I haven’t even sat on the stupid bike yet because every time I go to put air in the left rear tire the tire comes off the rim. I have been struggling with this for three days! The whole bike is put together now I have no way to send it back to anybody but I would throw it in the trash if I could. I can’t believe I spent this much money on a bicycle and I cannot even put air in the tire. Am I supposed to throw this whole thing in the back of my car or take it apart again which is impossible to put back together? They shouldn’t happen it’s a brand new bike. Unbelievable!

This Schwinn trike went together easily and my grandson loves it.

Very good quality

I love my tricycle. I love the freedom that it brings me. This sturdy tricycle enables me to bike to the grocery store and carry the groceries home in the basket. It provides better balance than my two wheeler.

They said no assembly needed , I received it and it is not assembled
