Alphacool 11284 Eisbaer 120 CPU - Black Water Cooling Kits, Systems and AIOs

It's an open loop AIO which means you can buy more water cooling parts like GPU blocks, radiators and so on and connect them up then refill it (comes prefilled). It has no kink coils on the hoses and one of them has a quick disconnect to add in other watercolor components. The hoses are long enough to allow the unit to be placed in almost all common rad mounting places a mid-tower case without creating any crazy angles. I say most because I was unable to mount it in the back of my case in the exhaust fan location. Mounting it back there would have created a bad angle for the tubing and put extra stress on the CPU mounting points (Phanteks P400s case). The Radiator is a copper 45mm thick, I don't know what the fins per inch (FPI) is.As for its performance, it's on a Core i7 6700k overclocked to 4.6GHz and keeps idle temps at around 33c. Load temps are around 60c on normal load, benchmarking/stress testing temp bounces between 67-70c. I am however not using the fans it came with, I have two Corsair ML PRO 120's in push pull config on it. The fans it came with are sleeve bearing 1400 rpm PWM fans, their not bad and are installed in my case as intake fans. The fans are quiet for the most part, but the cords they come with are very very short.The pump is three pin (non pwm) and super quiet. Pump max RPM is around 2700 rpm from what I have seen, it generally runs at about 2000 rpm on standard settings with motherboard software. It has a really awesome looking blue logo that lights when the pump has power.Overall I'm impressed and happy with the Alphacool Eisbaer 120. The fan speed in the included picture is sort of incorrect, they ended up increasing to about 1900 rpm to maintain that temperature with Asus realbench running.Update 6 March 2017, It's just about dead, the pump randomly screams with an atrocious noise and the rpm drops harshly from 2700rpm to about 1000 ish. Sadly I have removed it from my system before it fails completely. However, I can still use the Radiator it came with along with the water cooling parts I ordered so I guess it's not a total loss.

Currently have it on a loop with a Eiswolf and 360 rad Push/Pull. Near complete silence, at very low temps (~50c under load; 8700k 5Ghz, Vega Frontier 16GB GPU)

It chugs for a bit then poops-out, leaving you with thermal shutdown in the middle of a MS update. It's all good (NOT REALLY) they'll send you a replacement pump which you can install yourself! ...as long as it's in warranty that is, otherwise its 60 euros plus VAT!

The pump stopped working in just over a year.

Ich habe zwei identische Konfigurationen im Einsatz:Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero Alpha Gaming Mainboard mit Intel Core i7-6700K und Corsai Vengeance LPX RAMBeides in Midi-Towern mit Schalldämm-Matten. Der eine Rechner hat einen be quiet! BK019 Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU-Kühler (monströser Kühlkörper!) und der andere eben die Alphacool 11284 Eisbaer Wasserkühlung mit einem 120er- Doppellüfter.Mit beiden Kühlungen kommt man beim Tweaken auf stabile, entspannte 4,8GHz. Dabei läuft der be quiet!-Kühler nur selten unter höherer Last, dann mit ertragbarem Rauschen. Die Alphacool 11284 Eisbaer Wasserkühlung hält sich per Lüfter auch im Rahmen, jedoch ist die Wasserpumpe dauerhaft mit einem etwas nervigen singendem Geräusch deutlich zu hören.Wer öfter an seinem Boiard bastelt, sollte zum Alphacool greifen, da der Kühlaufsatz auf der CPU im Vergleich zum be quiet! sehr platzsparend ist. Der be quiet! verhindsert durch seine Bauform z.B. den Wechsel von RAM-Riegeln... Man baut den Kühler quasi einmal ein und dann war's das.

Anfangs war ich begeistert von der Loesung, speziell hinsichtlich der Felixibilitaet um kleinere Custom Loops zu bauen.Nach einigen Wochen fing die Pumpe jedoch gelegentlich zu rasseln an. Nach mehrmaligen drehen und neupositionieren stellte sich dies wieder ein aber es kam immer oefter wieder und nun nach gut 6 Monaten ist es nicht mehr wegzubekommen. Es handelt sich definitiv nicht um Luft, es klingt viel eher nach einem defekten Lager (Wenn man etwas googelt findet man auch etliche Leidensgenossen und Alphacool scheint das Problem auch eher zu leugnen als aktiv dagegen Vorzugehen). Dazu sei noch gesagt dass ich innerhalb dieser Zeit den Rechner nicht wirklich oft laufen hatte, bei intensiverem Betrieb wird sie wohl daher noch eher schlapp machen.Ich habe Alphacool noch einmal eine Chance gegeben und die neue Eisbaer LT ausprobiert und die war gleich nach dem Start so unglaublich laut am Rasseln dass ich sie sofort wieder reklamieren musste. Entweder ich habe Pech oder die Qualitaet bzw. deren Sicherung seitens Alphacool ist unterirdisch. Vorerst werde ich die Finger von diesen Produkten lassen.;tldrGutes Konzept, schlechte Umsetzung, Pumpe hat starke Lagerprobleme, nicht zu empfehlen. Lieber zu einer reinen AiO greifen oder gleich zu reinen Customloop-Komponenten.

Hatte die selbe Wasserkühlung in einem anderen PC bereits verbaut. Da mein Gehäuse keine leider keine Wasserkühlung mit größerem Radiator zulässt, musste ich wieder auf die 120mm Version zurückgreifen.Alphacool nutzt für die neuere Version Lüfter von be-quiet, was ich sehr gut finde. Die Hauseigenen Lüfter waren zu laut. Allerdings war mir der Durchsatz und die Laufruhe von den be-quiet Lüftern nicht gut genug, ich bin auf die Noctua NF-A12x25 umgestiegen. Selbst beim Gaming kaum hörbare Lüfter Geräusche. Mein i9 bleibt angenehm kühl.

Hab sie in meinem Gehäuse verbaut und muss sagen sie läuft sehr leise.Würde aber andere Lüfter für den Radiator nehmen um das Lüftergeräuch noch zu minimieren

Einfach nur Top. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen !Kühlt meinen 4790k perfekt !Höchste Qualität :)Läuft 1A und super einzubauen!
