That designation is for breathing in large amounts into your lungs or getting it in your eyes when working in an industrial environment. There was an NDI (New dietary ingredient) filed for Spermidine Trihydrochloride in 2005 outlining multiple studies on humans which shows it's completely safe when ingested orally. We cannot link to the NDI on Amazon's question but feel free to contact us for the documents.
