Until It Broke After 2.8 Years, This TV Seemed Fine (Updated 2021)
Update 2021: I forgot that I even wrote this review, or I would have updated it sooner to be fair to Samsung. Although it took me much of the summer of 2020, I managed to find some folks in Samsung support who treated me fairly. Samsung refunded about half of my purchase price but required me to ship the TV back to them (at their expense and in their packaging). The process was mind-numbingly confusing and contradictory, as no one person seemed to know what any other person at Samsung was doing. However, I managed to steer through the waters of confusion and ended up with what I considered a fair price. This TV did last me three years, and for its time and price, it did well. I'm far happier with the TV I bought when this one died, but that's a different story. For how long I had it and how good it was, I consider paying "half price" for those years to be fair. Samsung came through in the end. I still don't think I'd buy from them again, but I've added one star to reflect the fairness and consideration of some (not all) of the employees at their company. Original Review: I bought this TV in 2017. It worked great... until about a month ago (Feb 2020), when all of a sudden it stopped working and would only display colored vertical lines. I've posted a picture of the problem, which is not consistent because sometimes I get green lines as pictured, but sometimes I get purple or blue lines. Samsung has decided that "out of warranty" means "out of luck" and has refused to fix my TV. I have decided that other brands will be getting my money from now on. Thanks for nothing, Samsung. You've lost a customer forever.

Great but.
Tv is wonderful. Picture is fantastic and on matched. Received tv in great shape except for tiny bend i mean tiny on top of screen. Does not affect picture at all. Problem with power cord but samsung customer service is great. Great picture easy online 4K channels and hdr is fantastic. Even 1080 is up resed to almost 4k
