My wife and I are trying hard to comply with some dietary restrictions and that means that we need to do more of our own cooking (you can find low-fat, low-cholesterol, low carb, lower sodium, lower potassium and lower protein items in stores, but you generally only get to pick 2... maybe 3). I was originally looking at the name brand freezer cubes but they were so costly. These are at a great price point and work wonderfully. They freeze soup or sauce or whatever in great portion sizes. The container is sturdy when filling and easy to transport to freezer with the stiff top and easy to use lid. They are also very easy to pop out your frozen cubes. I would highly recommend, these have really helped to cut back on food waste and to prep for future meals

It's quite sturdy. I was a little scared of flipping it inside out to get the frozen items in fear of tearing the silicon as the corners are quite sharp. The smell does linger inside though. I usually use this for portioning cooked rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce.
