I watched many videos and looked at various repair solutions before settling on this product. I chose it as it seemed to be an easier, quicker and cleaner solution than going through several wet sanding processes. As instructed, I thoroughly cleaned the headlight assembly and applied a small amount of polish to a soft cloth. Using moderate swirling pressure, I was able to remove most of the oxidation from the lens. A second round removed a little more for about 90-95% of what was there. Seeing as the majority of the lens was still clear, I was satisfied and felt the results were not bad for an 8-year-old car. Modern day "plastic" headlight assemblies come with a sealant coating to protect from oxidation and UV damage. Over the years, that protection wears away (faster on some cars than others).
