This product really works. My 8 year old cocker spaniel has been battling cancer for two years and was really under weight from treatments and I started giving this to him with every meal and it helped put weight back on him and he loved the taste which is great because he is very picky. Highly recommend this product. I need to order more for him to help. Keep the weight on him.

Short version of my review: This product seemed to help our dog gain weight (over the course of a month). Smells like vanilla and looks like condensed milk. Our dog has not gotten tired of it yet (we are now on our second bottle). I would recommend this product over the other high calorie gel that smells savory if you have a small dog because the gel by the other company went rancid before we were able to finish it, and our dog did not want to eat it anymore. Longer version if you're interested: Our 13 year old chihuahua lost 25% of her weight (she went from 4lb to 3lb) after she had to have her cracked tooth pulled out. Her little tummy became upset due to the antibiotics she was prescribed after her tooth extraction. Over the course of a month, her hip bones and ribs became visible, and her hair became dull. I at first tried to help her eat and gain weight by giving her chicken, eggs, rice, etc., but the antibiotics she was taking made her stomach sensitive and she could not keep her food down, and there was a period of almost a month where she was vomiting and had diarrhea, and she was a hot mess. I bought this Dyne liquid and another product from Amazon to see if I can get her to gain weight without making her full. This Dyne product seemed to help the most out of the two I purchased. This one smells sweet and smells like vanilla. It looks like condensed milk. I bought Hill's Science Diet Puppy Wet Dog Food Small Breeds, Chicken & Barley and poured some over it, and she seemed to like it. The other high calorie gel I bought smelled savory and it was clear, brown gel. It was okay, but because our dog is so small, the tube went rancid before I could finish it. Plus, she seemed to not care for the savory flavor as much as the sweet Dyne one. So Dyne & the Hill's Science Diet puppy food has helped our dog get back on track to normal. It's been almost two months, and her hair is shiny again. She's stopped biting and pulling out her hairs on her hips, thighs, and tail. No more diarrhea or vomiting. She's able to get her extra calories without over stuffing herself and throwing up. She's not quite back up to 4lb yet, but she is now 3.7lbs so she's getting there (and while she's struggling to gain weight, meanwhile, I can eat something "bad' over the weekend and gain 10lbs....sigh. lol). It's definitely not an overnight miracle worker, but it seems to be helping slowly but surely. We're now on her second bottle, and I will continue to use this to help her get back to 100%.

I have a Chihuahua, that's 21 years old in the past 6 months. She has been losing weight so I purchased the liquid high-calorie To add with her food or treats, she loves it. Don't know how great it works yet. We'll see you in about a month

This product has made such a difference in my dog- I honestly thought I was going to lose her. She stopped eating and was very weak. Just three days of giving her this she has done a great turn around. She is now eating and playing and looking amazing. Thank you for making such a life saver for my fur baby❤️

Needed this for my dog when she needed a pymetra surgery which made her glucose drop. My dog is now on day 13 of recovery. This Dyne liquid supplement was easy to put in a syringe and allow her to lick and chase the drops. It is flavored vanilla and the rest of my dogs were fighting to try to get some licks in too! Did the job and help my dog get through a dangerous life threatening time. Definitely recommend for glucose or other needs!

my golden retriever is super active and doesn’t eat enough so i bought her this and put it in her food and she does not like IT! i tried give it separate as a treat but it really just doesn’t make it for her. i’m pretty sure it works but my dog just didn’t like the taste

Had puppies that were fussy with their mush so used this to get them more interested. They loved it. I even tasted it myself because it smelled delicious & it's actually really good. Ended up buying several times. Recently one of the pups had a surgery & when her appetite was low we used this again so we could keep her eating & getting enough nutrition to heal. I worry about buying stuff like this in Amazon because you never know if you're actually getting what you think you are but this is a product & seller that I believe can be trusted.
