Is the tee material the heavy feeling tee or the light feeling tee?

I'd say this is fairly heavy. It's certainly not a really light weight material, but neither is it too heavy and hot for summer wear.

Because you pick the size when you pick the team. There are boxes you can click on when you choose the team you and and the sizes that are not available anymore will be grayed out

I'm buying for an 18 year old who's slender but a whopping 6' 4" tall. What size would work?

I purchased the largest size available of 2xx but not to be worn. I am using for a college themed quilt. In any case, I would say go for the largest size. The cost is reasonable and the t's are excellent quality.
