I've been using this bomb for my cat's fountain, and it has been working non-stopping for like more than 4 years now.

Difficult to clean, gets moldy even when you replace the water weekly. I guess the plastic isn’t great, even when you have a stainless steel steel fountain.

The replacement pume lasted 5 months and died. The pump that came with the fountain lasted about the same. Save your money and buy a new fountain or you will be buying multiple pumps a year.

There are a multitude of shapes of Asian-made cat/dog water fountains available on the market. But the good thing to know is that many of those take the same pump motor and filters. So in the event of a motor failure, being able to purchase another pump is of paramount importance. After 9 months of continuous usage, one of my water fountain pumps failed. At first, not realizing that the pump motors can be found anywhere, I was all ready just to purchase an entire new water fountain. However, I looked at the motor designation number and I typed it in on the Amazon search bar and wallaaaaaa - many motor options appeared. All were mostly the same motor design and choosing one just meant you picked one that fit your price range. So I ordered this particular pump and all works perfectly. They even provide an extra impeller blade in the event that the one in the motor goes bad (which my original one did). At the its very low price, I ordered two of these motors, so I'll be set for quite awhile. So yes, this comes highly recommended.
