Is it to late to plant a rhubarb for next years harvest?

Depending on where you live, it should be ok to plant for next year. Be aware that rhubarb is a cool weather plant, so it may blossom and go to seed in the heat. Just get rid of the blossom stem. Regardless, the roots should be fine and continue to grow. I would recommend a place in partial shade for planting and water frequently.
