Best trainer with full AI support.
Best trainer for my son aged 7. He likes to revise the lessons, play with AI, or with me on iPad.

Waste of Money - Doesn’t Load
Trying for more than an hour to get the app working. It can’t download, and comes with poor network and server access error. It’s safe to say that even with a 100mbps urban connection in the financial district, it can’t connect to its servers. Money flushed down the drain.

Not as in the photo but good set- ordered from India store to check
I ordered it from the India playshifu store to check. The photo on the description is wrong . That is probably of the latest set for other markets. The Indian store is sending the one in the attached photo. The USD store price is 49.99 and here for this version we get for ₹1900 or so. That aside, the app and figurines work fine in iPad Air 5th gen. The puzzles from Intermediate learner onwards are good and some challenging. You have to touch the figurine on the iPad screen to move the piece but I noticed that if it is a rook, knight and pawn combo then you can use either to move any piece. This app has convinced me that my chess playing abilities are still somewhere between a novice to a blundering beginner.

There are no side stand to keep figures, seems an old version delivered in India. Not happy with the product description and details as product is different.

Great purchase for 7 & 10 year old
I am so happy with this purchase. My 10 year old knew a little about chess and my 7 year old knew nothing. This was a great game that explains all the rules (no parent knowledge needed) and you can play games with the computer or another person. What I love is that when you pick a piece to move, it shows the potential ways you can move. Would purchase again!

A great app for younger and older children!
Our Tacto chess arrived last weekend and I’m even more impressed than I expected to be. The figurines are a really good size for little hands and seem very well made. The app actually teaches the child how to play chess so no parental knowledge is needed - this was brilliant for me. The themes are great for making the game child friendly. My little one isn’t actually 6 yet and still enjoyed playing it. The only thing to keep in mind for younger children is that there is a little bit of reading, for example ‘your king will be checked’ but I wouldn’t let this put you off getting the app if your child is less than 6. I’m already looking to see which app to get next!
