A very fascinating book on travels in the Middle East - just post-war and up to the sixties - to compare with that part of the world now and how it has been changed by the discovery of oil. Written by an extraordinary travelling man!

Shame,it is rather a very cheap print of a superb book!

as travel books go this surely has to be a classic it is the next best thing to being there
