I believe 250lbs is the max *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2017* Overall it is build very durable, non elastic, nylon type material. Also it came with cement screws so I had to purchase my own for wood. The only downfall was that I had to get is shipped twice (they could not just send the missing part) because the first one came with only 1 mount bracket and 2 are needed, though this could have been an honest mistake and they overnighted the new one at no extra charge. The only exposed beam in my house is smack in the center of my living room so in order to mount this in my work out room I had to use studs. It has been up for a month now on a slanted ceiling and at 5'7" and 130 lbs it is holding up great. I believe 250lbs is the max capacity on this item but not certain.
