If you have knee pain get this and a sit/stand desk
I've been riddled with knee pain for months and it was particularly bad after sitting for anything more than 20 minutes. My work has me sitting for hours, so I needed a radical solution to this. I got a standing desk converter which has been a great help, but found that going from sitting to standing, beneficial as it was, still didn't quite solve my problem. Came across this stool when looking for other solutions and it has been a godsent. I have it on medium height all day along with my standing desk, so I'm not sitting as normal but also I'm not standing. This allows my knees to stretch so they don't ache, helps me move a lot more and it's brilliant for posture. I'm a convert!

Very well built
It's really well made. It's solid and easy to adjust, the seat pad is really cushioning & I'm really pleased with it.It's certainly not the cheapest sit/stand stool available, but with it I think. The only extra thing is that I'd suggest you don't reply on it as your only desk seat if you're not used to it!They're good, but not terribly comfortable. You can feel it in your stomach and leg muscles, but I think that's part of the reason for using this instead of an office chair!

I’m disabled I have spinal problems I can’t stand for vet long
I was really taking a risk buying this. I wanted it for the kitchen. I like to be independent and even though I know the disability offer perching stools having seen them the take up loads of room. This stool is perfect I can move it easily and I’m now feeling very independent. The only space it takes up on the floor is the base The tilting keeps me mobile. I put my foot on the base when moving around. I completely love it I’m 71 years old and I feel it’s safe for me

Versatile perching stool
This has been great for helping me in the kitchen after suffering a slipped disc and not able to stand for very long, got it at almost full height and when I’m cooking, doing the dishes etc has been great, it’s not the cheapest but does have a quality look and feel to it, can reduce to normal stool size as well as various heights inbetween.

Good Concept, But Height Adjustment Issue
I purchased the Leitz Active Sit Stand Stool with high hopes, as I was looking for something ergonomic and versatile for my standing desk. While the concept is great, I encountered an issue with the height adjustment. The stool is very stiff, and I found it nearly impossible to adjust the height to my preference. This made it uncomfortable to use and ultimately led me to return the product. The design itself is solid, and it seems like it could be great if the height adjustment mechanism worked smoothly. But unfortunately, the stiffness was a dealbreaker for me. I’m sure it would work fine if the adjustment feature was more user-friendly.

Well made and comfortable
Purchased for my wife who is a 'crafter'. An otdinary office type chair was not suitable for her hobby. The first type ordered was cheaper, and not suitable. This one fits the bill (she says). Quite happy with the item.
