Roho Mosaic Seat Cushion, Inflatable Air Cushion, Heavy-Duty Cover, 18 x 16

This cushion and cover is perfect for those that sit in a wheelchair or other chair a lot. I had a cyst on my tailbone and I purchased this cushion to sit on to allow air to get to my wound. My cyst healed within a few days after receiving this cushion. The cover is very discreet and just zips over the air cushion perfectly. The cover can be machine washed. I highly recommend it for the people that have wounds on their back side and do a lot of setting. I found out about this cushion from a Care Center that my dad was in for rehabilitation. Very worth the money.

I really like this cushion. Before it felt like I couldn’t sit for very long but now I can, and my butt doesn’t hurt I highly recommend it.

I purchased this cushion and it started leaking at the valve after 3 months. I couldn’t get any response from Amazon or the vender so I contacted the company. The company informed me that these cushions have a year warranty and sent me a replacement. This is a great and comfy cushion.

I'm not sure how I ended up finding this but I was desperate for something that worked for long hours of gaming and this is amazing. I never had something that felt so great on a chair and I guess it makes sense since this is for people that have to be on their wheelchairs all day. It's pricey considering they have seat cushions 1/5 of the price but trust me this is a whole different experience as a gamer sitting down, all those others are just foam basically, this like shapes to your rear end like hydraulic shocks in little squares, definitely getting it again if it starts leaking air, it comes with a repair kit but is pretty thick plastic not sure how you would put a hole in it, and through the cover too that is also thick. Very happy with it.

It has been about 3 weeks and so far the cushion is working well for my mother that sits about 10 hours a day in her wheelchair. My mother is a hoyer lift patient, so she is either in bed or the wheelchair. The cushion is staying inflated. She doesn't complain anymore about her bottom hurting. Time will tell regarding the sore on her bottom but she was complaining about her bottom, with the old memory foam cushion, on the last day she used it. And from day 1, with the new cushion, she no longer complains. I also bought the heavy-duty one in case she has a bathroom accident.

I am very disappointed, the one star rating reflects the fact that I had high hopes for this air cushion. The gel and memory foam products I used in the past start off comfortable, but break down and become unusable with time. This "cushion" was uncomfortable from the moment I sat on it until i gave up, hours later, after trying it I just ate correctly based on the instructions in the manual. I finally gave up when the cushion almost caused me to fall to the floor . The cushion had uneven inflation and constant air flowing from one side to the other. When I reached toward the floor, it caused all the air to shift from the front to back, raising my behind about 4 inches. It pushed me up and forward almost out of the chair. Whether it's design, flaw or user error or I don't feel safe using it

It helps relieve the pain for my elderly mother that's 86 yrs old with a pressure ulcer.

I have been a para since 1980, thats 42 years of expertise in a chair, and I have used everything. I went to Roho's after they made the quad cushion to control the air. If you can't feel and don't have a lot of buttock fat or muscle, you must use the real 4" Roho quad or tall bladers. Mosaic is a great, light, and thin rubber cushion for the shower or the car. The pump and the cover retail for more combined than the cushion itself. I would never risk using the Mosaic as a natural everyday chair cushion; the rubber is too thin, I would get holes quickly, and the air moves depending on the weight distribution, and thats dangerous. If you have never had surgery to close an ulcer, don't risk the Mosaic, and if you have had to close an ulcer with surgery like me, absolutely don't use the Mosiac on your daily chair. The risk is far too significant. My wife is it physician in physical medicine and rehab and she agrees mosaic is not an every day wheelchair cushion for a complete SCI para or quad with no feeling and little muscle or fat in the sitting area. Pros, you can roll it up thin, with no air, and take it with you on trips for shower chairs in hotels or rental cars. If you are on a plane for hours, you need to site on your real 4" Roho, not the Mosaic. The Mosaic would be good for playing basketball, or wheelchair sports, its super light, and you're only sitting on it for two hours. The Mosaic is about 60% lighter than a real 4" Roho, the kind that can save your rear end from an injury, ulcer. This review comes from 42 years as a para, using heavy gel, t-foam, honeycomb, everything.

Stopped my backpack butt, and neck pain and legs falling asleep immediately. I'm using it on a kitchen chair to use my computer for hours a day a the kitchen table. Not an ergonomic setup, but the cushion really helped! Read the directions and do not over-fill the air chambers. Mine is barely inflated, but even i sit down, it's perfect.

Thank you RoHo , for my comfort. I only had to add bout 50% air. It makes my life so much better while watching tv. Now I need a pair of RoHO jeans.

Cómodo, te ayuda bastante en la circulación, fácil de inflar, buen tamaño, si es alto… yo lo uso en mi sillón dental y al bajar la silla al piso me sigue dejando un poco alta
