Never had a bulb last as long as these sansi grow lights
The Sansi bulbs are bright, quiet, long lasting and they seem to use less electricity than standard bulbs. I just replaced one of three bulbs I have in my grow/reading lamp. I bought the lamp over 4 years ago. That should give some idea as to how great these bulbs are. My standard 75 watt bulbs donโt last anywhere near as long. Worth the price for sure.

These are the bulbs you're looking for (no Jedi hand wave required)
This is a bright, clear light that actually matches its watt rating (~14.7 watts at a 15 watt rating). I've tried other brands and these SANSI LEDs are by far the best I've ever used. I've got 5 at home where I keep all my tropicals and 3 on my little desk "arboretum" at work. Many of these I've had for over a year with no burnouts, dead or dimmed LEDs, or any trouble at all. And I'm about to buy more since I just set up a new track lighting system at home and I'll be putting together an indoor water garden in the coming months. I prefer the full spectrum versions as they produce a beautiful crystal clear warm white glow that feels just like sunlight - it's plenty good for the plants but it also feels good to me, too. I want to just fill my house with these, but I'm not quite at that budget yet. Though if you watch carefully occassionally they'll have a sale or a coupon and you can get a pretty solid discount. But even at full price they beat any competition on Amazon. They do get pretty warm to the touch, and there's a warning to not use them in an enclosed light fixture. I recommend you heed that warning for maximum life and efficiency. But they've never gotten hot enough to burn. Pros: Everything. Cons: None. If you need a grow light with an edison base, buy these. You won't regret it.

Effective Supplemental Lighting
I am currently using three, 40W SANSI grow-lights hanging from above in a south-facing windowsill. They are being used as supplemental lighting for my succulents and cacti. Since using the lights I have noticed that the colors and growth of my succulents have gotten to a level that I could not achieve with just the sun alone. These bulbs are definitely a must for any enthusiast that wants the best for their plants. I also have four, 40W grow lights on a 7ft Ficus lyrata in a west-facing window. Further, I have three 40W grow lights shared between a smaller strelitzia Nicoli and monstera deliciosa, also in a different west-facing window. The plants would all do ok without the lights, but I want them to have as much light as possible, and these SANSI grow-lights help me achieve that. UPDATE (01.04.2019) โ For the record, I am based in Chicago and I have successfully eliminated winter using these lights โข White cords โ cheap ones Ikea sells without a power switch; around $6. They are suspended from a spring-loaded Umbra curtain rod hanger in a neat way and it allows me to independently raise/lower each light. I have been having to do a lot of raising of my light over the Euphorbia Trigona. That thing has been growing vigorously all winter. โข Succulents โ I will post a new photo with my next update. โข ZZ plant โ has been under a 40W grow light now for a few months and is really starting to take off. Slow growers? I think not. โข Sterliza Nicolai โ Growing well, continuously putting out leaves, each generation successively larger. โข Monstera Deliciosa โ putting leaves with many fenestrations and deep slits considering its young age. โข Ficus Lyrata โ NOT USING A SANSI GROW LIGHTS ANYMORE, for respect of the company, I am not going to state the light I am using on Amazon. I just needed to use something a little bigger for that tree. UPDATE (03.02.2019): Did some rearranging and potting up early to get a jump start on spring growth. I found that one C-stand is super useful for mounting these lights in a clean and versatile way.

Works great, sturdy, runs cool, nice bright white color, plants love it.
I've been very pleased with this grow light. I have several tropical plants that I keep on my patio in the summer but which I moved indoors for the winter. My patio is shady to begin with, and my home is even darker, even right next to a window (thick trees cast shade). I was so impressed that after just a few weeks under the grow light in my bedroom, my plants (banana, monstera, philodendron) started to produce new leaves - something the monstera hadn't even done all summer on my patio. I think this light might actually be providing more brightness to my plants indoors than they were getting outdoors! I like that it doesn't get hot to the touch, and I love that it isn't the unsettling red-blue color of other grow lights -- as a result, it blends in and looks normal with my other household lights. Previously, I wasn't able to keep houseplants because of how dark it is inside, but now I'm reconsidering and I think the light may be a year-round feature for a tabletop plant, not just a winter fixture for my patio plants when they need to come indoors for the winter.

Affordable grow lights
I've only been using these bulbs (10W and 15W) for a few weeks. They're a nice neutral color temperature and they give off a lot of lumens. My plants seem happy. One of the 10W bulbs I bought was dead so I'll be returning that but the rest are fine. I'll update my review if anything changes. I mainly am leaving a review to let folks know that the plastic vented housing of the bulb WILL BE HOT. Too hot to touch in fact, even after only 30 seconds or so. So please heed the manufacturers warning to not put these bulbs in an enclosed space. I'm using vented shades. I'm a little frustrated because I contacted customer service about how hot these get and they basically just said "that's physics". I guess I'm glad I got a reply but that reply is not helpful. And I'm saying that as an engineer who appreciates how physics work. So I had to do my own digging and I found a helpful article from LIFX (I'd post the link but I'm not sure if Amazon will except my review if it has a link) that shares the typical heat sink temperatures of LED bulbs. It seems like they can range between 150-190F or 66-87C. I measured mine to be around 140F, although I'm guessing it's hotter than that because I truly can't touch it for even a second, which usually indicates something is above 140F. Still, it seems likely that my bulb temperatures are in the range of normal. I think it's noticeably hotter than my experience because it doesn't have a domed diffuser like your typical house bulbs. These domes are typically not too hot to touch. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to give more helpful information to you all in case you get the same silly response from customer service like I did. TLDR; yes, the bulbs get hot within seconds but this is likely in the range of normal if it's below 190F/87C. I will likely buy more of these in the future.

Great bulb for plants.
Purchased this to make a grow light for my FLF. Bulb is small enough to fit in an old pot I had made into a lamp shade. Bulb does not get hot which is a plus. Update- 6/10/26 My FLF loves this light! In just a little over a month it has grown as you can see in last photo.

Sansi = Quality
I've never been disappointed by a purchase from Sansi. Their lights are second to none in terms of quality. The bulb I ordered arrived in perfect condition, and works perfectly for my carnivorous plant collection. I would give six stars if I could!

Plants Love these
I have never, and I mean never, been able to keep an orchid alive. You get them from a store and a month later lose all their flowers and start to wither away to nothing. Until now! My orchid is thriving! Sure I know a bit more about plants now but I could be giving it fertilizers a-Z and it did nothing before. I truly believe itโs these lights. My pitcher plants and citrus seedlings also started to boom after being put under the puck version of these. Fantastic lights that I will be buying more of. Not sponsored by them, but willing to be ๐

Scam. Product does not work and no refund is provided post return of product
Product was returned as it was incompatible with Indian condition. Return was done exactly as per instructions. Amazon declined to give refund (3 bulbs for approx 10,000) without providing any reason whatsoever. Seller could not be reached as no contact details is provided. This is a scam
