True to colour . Conditioning treatment really makes hair feel silky . And no ammonia !

Covered my grey roots brilliantly
After using L’Oreal Excellence in light brown for quite some time, my hair had turned almost black which didn’t suit me at all. It seems other people also have had the same problem with the colours from L’Oreal. So I stripped the colour from my hair then redyed it in dark blonde, again from L’Oreal Excellence. The colour worked well but it only lightly covered my grey roots which is why I wanted to try this Josh Wood one in 6.5 lightest brown. I’m so glad I took a chance as this colour has covered my grey roots perfectly and also perfectly matches the dark blonde on the rest of my hair (I only wanted to cover just the grey roots because of having just coloured all my hair). As others have said, there is a little tinge of red in the colour but I like this as it’s pretty close to my natural colour, from what I remember! The big lesson I’ve learned is always go lighter than you think with box dyes. Hope this helps someone.

Disappointing
Disappointed , after reading all the good reviews was looking forward to a salon quality home colour. Followed the instructions, left the colour on for the specified time, used a shampoo for coloured hair and the next day my roots totally visible and no grey coverage on my temples. Sadly won’t repurchase

Less toxic and better coverage than other big brands
Never tried this one before and will be using it again - actually does cover greys, unlike others I have tried.. less toxic ( I reacted to the last clairol one I used, horrible rash), and it left my hair silky and conditioned.. I did go a shade lighter than expected and that was right.. quality !

Best at home hair colour EVER
Excellent colour that is fool proof . I no longer need to go to the salon as this is my perfect match . My hairdresser couldn’t believe how beautiful it looked . The condition is better than before and the conditioner it comes with makes my hair extensions feel brand new!!

Fades quickly
Gives a natural colour and covers greys unfortunately it faded very quickly and went a orangey brown after the first wash very unattractive. Therefore wouldn’t recommend
