Dimex 36"x 48" Clear Office Chair Mat with Lip for Low Pile Carpet, Made in The USA, C511001G

I was actually pretty disappointed in this, given the other great reviews. The first day I used it, small dents began to appear at the positions of my chair wheels, like it was too weak or flimsy to support targeted pressure points. (Keep in mind, I don't weigh much, and neither does my chair.) I can't really roll around on it since the dents create little "valleys" that my chair will slide back into. I've been trying to "balance out" the dimples by forcing my chair in different positions, but it just gives it an uneven surface. I was hoping for something a lot more sturdy.

Mat quickly got permanent indentations from the chair wheels sinking down into the carpet. The carpet is Berber, not even plush or thick. Now my chair has a rather permanent "parking slot" which is annoying. Even when I try to force the chair closer to the desk, it continues to slide back into its slot. I even tried moving the mat a few inches trying to get a new flat spot, but that didn't resolve the issue.

This mat arrived not rolled up and ready for use! The reason for 3 stars is that after just one week of use, there are these indentations in the mat. I think that the hard plastic is the cause. Perhaps if the material was more rubberized it would prevent that. Otherwise, the chair glides across it seamlessly and I hardly notice it's there outside of when the wheels move over those indentations.

the item only works on one side, the other side is defective. When I tried to return it, the return description was return by April 4th. today is the 7th, so cannot be returned. I bought it to take to an outing, put it together, tried it out, and one side does not work. Did not check it when received, didn't think I would have to, Very angry over this and will never use this vender again.

Well mine started to crack already and my carpet pile is short. I use a regular office chair on rollers for about 4 hours a day. The mat is still protecting my carpet and its easy to move around in my chair. Much better with than without.

Fit within my cubicle at the office. It's thinner than I thought it would be but it's meant for low carpeting, which is what my office has. I have a u-shaped desk and have to often grab something from the other side of my desk/cubicle. I slide back and forth in my cubicle using my chair :) So far this office mat has not moved from the original position that I first placed it in.

Heavy duty mat, protects carpet well. But we've had for just over 6 months and the outer edges are starting to curl up, leaving the spiked edges exposed, leaving enough space for crumbs/dirt to catch under the edges, and us having to lift the chair back on if a wheel slides off.

Does the job.Not sure what the lip talk is about. Some plastic nubs on edge ,nothing a razor blade an a nail file wouldn't fix ,even feels nice with bare feet Slightly flimsy if you have any padding under carpet indents a bit

We just received the chair mat on January 5th. Used it last night while sitting on a 6 castor chair and this morning the matt already has indents in it so the chair wants to go to one position. Weight for my husband is under 195 lbs. Not near the quality we expected.
