My new favorite - smooth and complex.
I drink green tea almost every day (it’s my “coffee” 😁) and have gone through several pounds of another gunpowder green organic brand. I saw this one was cheaper and thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Right away I noticed how fresh and “grassy” the leaves smelled. I brewed the leaves for three minutes in water heated to 180, then drank it iced with honey. Oh my! I don’t think I’ve ever had green tea this fresh and flavorful. I would describe the taste as smooth (not bitter) and complex. I honestly wake up in the morning and can’t wait to brew some.

Whole Leaf Tea
I am really enjoying this whole leaf green tea. While I have local green tea options. I prefer whole leaf, and I like that this does not have competing secondary flavors common in most. Good value as well.

Happy this is back in stock! Had to purchase a different brand last time because this was out of stock and was highly disappointed in the taste. Pros: Organic-- always my concern is what is being sprayed on the tea Smoothness-- definitely has the most smoothness in brands I've tried Caffeine Content-- strong! You don't need a lot to get a strong cup of tea Price-- With my husband and I sharing a pot of tea per day this lasts for about 2 months which means we are only spending about $10 per month on tea. I'm very happy with that! Smell-- after trying other teas, this has a very aromatic and pleasant smell to it Cons: This is not always available or in stock

Have ordered this tea 4 times, maybe more. Excelent tea great taste and good value for the money.

Addictive.
At first, I was slightly put off by the smokey flavor, but now I crave it each morning. A lot of people complain the tea is bitter but I guarantee they are brewing too hot, too long and using too much water. I brew 15 grams of tea with 200ml. of water not exceeding 175F. Only 30 seconds per steep will brew you a tasty cup of tea. I wholeheartedly recommend this tea.

Not my cup of tea
Regardless of how I brewed this green tea it had a bitter aftertaste. I tried different brewing and steeping times. I'm sure some people like it but this is not my cup of tea. Other brands of Organic Gunpowder Green Tea taste better.
