My issue was minor, but I had it on my big toe nail for years before it got slightly worse recently and I got tired of trying to cut it off from the side. I’m not sure why it never spread, but it always stayed on just one side. I thought this ointment would take ages to improve it, but it literally took ONE application, and the nail already looked much better the next day. The yellow color disappeared. A few weeks later, it looks pretty much back to normal and the nail doesn’t seem to be growing out as thick either. I should have bought this ages ago! I’ll continue using it every couple of days until that part of the nail grows out just in case, but I’m satisfied with the results already.

Works!! I have had this in my cart off and on and after nothing else worked OTC I bought it!! Noticed a difference after day 1!! Almost cleared up after 7 days! Don’t sleep on this!

Works fast, best product that I've used as I get older I notice my big toe nails get really discolored it is pretty darn ugly :-(. I live in Arizona and where a lot of flip-flops during warm weather, and I just use it in the mornings when I'm not putting on my shoes. It's a bit oily, but it sticks to the toenail very well, I would recommend this to anybody that has discolored toenails.

Silka Max Strength antifungal liquid for toenail fungus helped but did not quite clear up the fungus. The brush applicator has to be pushed down on the toe for the liquid to disperse, and once fully saturated, it would have a slight sting, letting me know it's working. It was good, but the clear fungus was not done in a week with twice-a-day applications.

I wish I took a before photo, so yall will just have to trust me when I say that before using this product, the nail separation/overall nastiness was at the base of the nail and rapidly getting worse no matter what I tried. The entire right side of the nail was NASTY. I started using the SILKA Max Strength Anti-Fungal on July 17th, and it’s not even a month later and you can see it’s now grown out, and up to the middle of the nail. I’ve been gently cutting it as it grows which is once every 3-4 days since the nail is growing SO fast. It’s such a relief to see all that healthy growth after worrying that the dr will have to remove the whole thing and start me on some heavy treatment for this toe that’s been a problem for a while now. I saw some angry reviews about it not being like a clear-coat nail polish. It says it right in the photos how to apply, so please read the entire product description shown on the bottle in the photos. You’re not supposed to put any sort of polish on a toe nail like this. It needs to breathe. I do use the brush to put some under the top of my nail as well as along all the sides, and let it air dry. Most days I just do it once or twice, and it’s still working great! Cannot recommend enough.

I’ve been dealing with this problem with one of my toenails for almost three years, and I honestly can’t believe I’m finally seeing a difference! I’ve been using this twice a day, and I can actually see healthy looking nail growing in instead of the yellow discoloration I was used to seeing. I’m so happy with the progress so far. If you’ve been struggling with the same issue, I highly recommend giving this a try!

I bought it for my wife, who was looking for a nail fungus treatment, but it didn't live up to the product description; she didn't get good results after using it for several days.

This is just one of may other anecdotal reviews. I can say that I was put-off when the product arrived and I read the directions and learned that this wasn't specifically for application to nails - despite the graphics on the packaging. Since I had it, I thought I may as well try it anyway. My big tow had some obvious fungal issues starting to cause discoloration on the right side of the nail. I cleaned it out as much as I could (amazed that at my age, I was able to lift my foot to the top of the bathroom counter to work on it!). Next, I applied as directed -both on top of the nail and into the small space between it and the skin. The next morning, I could see a difference, and over the past 7-days, it has improved. I'm continuing to apply it 2x daily and give it a few ,more weeks. So far - I'm encouraged.

The box shows a toenail, people in the reviews mention their nails but then the text on the box says that this product is not for nails. Confused and unsure whether it is still worth trying.
