Those using this for cats, how long before you saw results? Do you plan on giving this forever or just a month or so?

Immediately. When Emy does not take lysine her eye herpes acts up. I was giving her feline l lysine chews, she stopped liking them, even cut up in tiny pieces in her food. Within two day a flare up. Gave her 1/4 tsp in her food of the powdered l lysine at night, she woke up with clear eyes. Yes, she was “prescribed” 500 mg l lysine chews daily by her vet. They are expensive and cats are finicky, so this is a more economical way to dose daily.

No. Return the bottle. Bloating would indicate contamination; probably moisture and bacterial contamination of that bottle. This can occur if something contaminates a container before or during the filling process. It is a rare event, but it can occur.
