I need a longer cables, what brand shoud i buy. someone knows?

This cable works great. I wanted our Nest Cam to be on all the time instead of only 10 minutes at a time. Got tired of restarting it. This cable has been great. I have it plugged into the house thru livingroom screen,and I never have any issues with it. NOW we can monitor the driveway without it shutting off. Love this product. If you hate having to restart your Nest Cam--this is a must for you..You will be happy.

Will it still work in a power failure?

IF the internal battery is charged up in the Nest Cam, the camera should continue to work in a power failure. The cable only delivers power to the Nest Cam and charges the battery; it has no effect in a power failure.
