Will it work with a 2009 xTerra? Also, will the stock tweeters still work?

Joe - You might try going to the mfr's website to see if there's a compatibility chart. I'm thinking there was. The Kenwood unit I chose does not have separate tweeter outputs, so the harness I used didn't provide for them. Many times, the tweeters have their own crossover network attached directly to the tweeter, so connecting them to the standard radio output will still allow them to work. The crossover network will allow only the higher frequency signals to pass into the tweeter. If they do not have dedicated crossover networks, i.e. the network is otherwise provided within the player, then I would not advise connecting them to the standard output. The tweeters could then "see" all frequencies and there associated amplitudes and would likely fail. I hope this helps. Cheers! Steve
