That’s actually a great question. You have to consider what the Church was like back during and after Jesus’ time on Earth. His followers were seen as breaking the Kings laws and were subject to cruel penalties. So they would gather in one another’s homes to celebrate the early Mass where the breaking of the bread and drinking the wine were seen as essential to their faith. Beautiful gift or keep it for yourself

This is actually a wonderful set of Christian articles that warm the heart. In our prayer meetings, as well as when praying for individuals elsewhere, I keep holy oil handy. Holy water I use also. The set is very nice. My only unfortunate issue is that the red cap was partially off the bottle of oil, and much of it leaked out in shipping. Amazon did the right thing, which I appreciate. It is still useful to me, even with 1/3 of the oil gone. Certainly worth buying.
