Ho acquistato il masterizzatore essenzialmente per fare un backup delle mie foto su M-disk. Quindi sulla valutazione questo ha avuto un peso predominante; visto il costo di questo tipo di masterizzatori se non pensate di usare M-disc cercate qualcosa di più economico. È più robusto di altri prodotti simili, ma non aspettatevi un prodotto a norme militari. Arriva con 2 cavetti, usb 3.0 classico e usb c. Non necessita di alimentatore. Connesso a un MacBook via usB-c masterizza un Blu ray M-DISC A 4X. La connessione è sempre stata stabile, e non ho buttato via nessun disco, visto il costo astronomico di un BD M-disc da 100G è un bene. Legge DVD commerciali senza problemi, ma per i film in blu ray su MAC temo sia necessario sborsare dei soldi per una app che lo faccia. Sto parlando dei normali film 1080p. Venia de un PC con 13 años y los nuevos gaming no traen lectores internos, buscando me encontré con éste lectir/grabador UHD. En mi caso viene con su estuche para guardar el lector y cableado perfecto para transportar. Los cables que vienen son USB (normal), USB 3.0 y USB tipo C. El material de construccion del lector es de aluminio (negro en mi caso), es plug & play no hay que instalar drivers simplemente enchufas, metes un cd y automaticamente empieza a leer y el pc lo reconoce solo. Al principio de la lectura es algo ruidoso, despues no tanto. Por ahora todo bien.

I bought this after returning a different model that didn’t work correctly from another supplier. This one does everything it says it will. The seller sent some additional support information after the purchase to help with any issues. That said, so far there haven’t been any issues. The unit was completely plug and play with Windows 10 on a Dell XPS machine and was up and running within a minute of unpacking it. Cyberlink PowerDVD 18 Ultra plays everything I’ve thrown at it including 4K-UHD and 3D Blu-ray without any problems so far. To play Blu-Ray and 4K-UHD you will need purchase PowerDvd or an equivalent as this type of playback is not supported natively in Windows. The product listing does make this clear so no excuses for not knowing really. The DRM protocol for 4K-UHD playback places some tight restrictions on what hardware and s/w standards must be implemented before replay will be allowed. Cyberlink have a download (Ultra HD Blu-ray Advisor) that will tell you if your PC is compatible with Blu-ray and/or UHD playback, so if you’re in doubt it’s a good place to start. It works well through either the USB C or USB 3 interfaces and is small and neat enough to slip into the side pocket of a laptop sleeve if required.

Nachdem ich bereits ein anderes 4K UHD Laufwerk von einem namhaften Hersteller habe was gut funktioniert musste ich trotzdem dieses Laufwerk kaufen und der Grund ist ganz einfach. Ich bin Sammler unter anderem für Filme und Serien, schaue diese aber lieber dort wann und wo ich möchte. Ein Problem war bisher das Digitalisieren von 4K Filmen was nun mit diesem Laufwerk ein Ende hat. In dem Archgon Produkt wird eigentlich ein LG-Laufwerk BU40N verbaut. Bei mir wurde die Firmware 1.01 geliefert. LibreDrive benötigt 1.0, ein Firmware downgrade ist aber mit dem richtigen Programm schnell, einfach und sicher möglich. Nun kann ich endlich auch meine 4K Filme nach dem Digitialisieren an den Fernseher streamen oder aufs Smartphone. Qualitativ ist das Produkt absolut in Ordnung. Es fühlt sich wertig an und sieht optisch auch wertig aus. Die Oberfläche neigt dazu Fingerabdrücke zu sammeln, ist für mich aber kein Problem. Den Preis finde ich etwas zu teuer, allerdings wird hier neben zwei Kabeln auch noch ein tolles Hardcase zum Transport mitgeliefert, weswegen ich den Preis noch als akzeptabel empfinde. Das einzige was mich etwas stört ist, dass hier ein Y-USB Typ-A Kabel beiliegt, was ich so von anderen Herstellern nicht kenne. Alternativ kann man dann aber das USB Typ-C Kabel verwenden. Schade finde ich etwas, das alles doppelt und dreifach in Plastiktüten eingepackt ist. Es ist doch sowieso ein Hardcase dabei, warum nicht einfach weglassen? Alles in allem ein gutes Produkt und definitiv eine Empfehlung wert. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die oben genannten Punkte die minimal sind. UPDATE 29.11.2022 Laufwerk gekauft am 10. Oktober 2021. Gestern Abend ging es noch problemlos, heute morgen an das MacBook gegangen wird keine Blu-ray mehr erkannt. Auch an einem Windows PC geht plötzlich nichts mehr und auch mit dem zweiten Kabel (2x USB-A, statt bisher USB-C) macht das Laufwerk dasselbe. Es versucht irgendwas zu tun (LED blinkt), hört dann irgendwann auf und taucht weder unter macOS noch unter Windows auf/erkennt keine Blu-ray. Egal ob 4K Blu-ray oder nicht. Kabel und Anschluss haben keinen Wackelkontakt. Scheint etwas an der Hardware/Platine an sich zu sein... Daher von 4 auf 1 Stern abgewertet. Für den Preis von 160€ sollte der Artikel länger als 1 Jahr halten (und auch länger als 1 Jahr und 1 Monat). Amazon riet mir mich an den Verkäufer zu wenden, was ich getan habe. Vielleicht ist dies ein Einzelfall vielleicht aber auch nicht. UPDATE 12.12.2022 Der Verkäufer hat sich sehr zügig gemeldet und nach Empfand meines kaputten Laufwerks anstandslos ersetzt und zurückgesendet. Ich aktualisiere daher von 1 Stern (zuvor 4 Sterne) auf 5 Sterne.
