Great for custom bikes!
Great way to really dial in your custom build! Have them on 3 different bikes! Never had an issues and they look awesome! Also, Wolf Tooth is an awesome company! These are the go-to's for centerlock hubs!

Nice bling for a boring part
These things aren’t going to make you faster, make you a better rider or help you clear that tech line that makes your ankle bone look like an ostrich egg. They’re just a beautiful addition to an overlooked part of your bike. They’re like Sandy’s leather pants at the end of Grease, but for your bike

Premium lock rings with Great Color Choice
Like all Wolf Tooth kit, precision engineered and IMO worth the heavy premium! I wanted orange to match the accents on my gravel bike, and these added a custom touch to the bike. Could not be happier with the latest purchase!

This piece replaced the original SRAM piece.
The depth of this item is larger than the original, but fit perfectly.

Look really good with my gold I9 hubs, they aren’t a perfect match but very very close.

Be careful about clearance!!
I’ve used Wolf Tooth components for years, and I think they’re a great company. So I was excited about seeing these external centerlock lockrings, as my internal lockring tool wasn’t a secure enough fit I needed on a new pair of wheels I had gotten with the stock Shimano lockrings.I mounted the brake rotor on the front wheel, secured it with the Wolf Tooth lockring, torqued it to spec and mounted the wheel and only hand tightened to make sure I wasn’t getting any rotor rub against the pads. The wheel would barely turn. I could see that the rotor was completely up against the inner pad, so I took the wheel off to check what was causing this to happen. That’s when I noticed why the wheel would not spin like it should - the edge of the Wolf Tooth external lockring was not only up against the fork leg, but had dug a gouge into my Orbea carbon fork, through the paint and what looks like down to the carbon when I tried to turn the wheel. If you look at the photo, you can see that due to the fact that it’s an externally tightened lockring, it is much thicker at the edges than a stock Shimano internal lockring that tapers towards the top. Still like Wolf Tooth, but a cautionary message to check your clearances before you put everything back together. I’ve gone from excitement for a new set of wheels to wondering if now I have a fork that’s compromised and dangerous to actually ride.
