Pretty excited to try a Made in the USA product. So I shut the water off to the house and started draining the water out of the system. Poured myself a few glasses of water from the old filter (you have to empty the water anyway) and wanted to compare after cycling 3-4 gallons through the new filter. I will say that the fit is excellent (no leaks). Installation was also a breeze!Results? The water from the new filter does taste a little different than the water I reserved from the last of the other filter. How different? Lets put it this way; if a guest tried it they probably wouldn't say anything. I am picking up the slightest hint of chlorine (chloramine) in the aroma, whereas the previous filter had none. However, the mineral taste with this filter exceptional (tastes as good, if not better than bottled to me). I am going to give it a few more days and see. If the chlorine aroma dissipates, then I'll gladly give it a 5/5. BTW, our water supply is from a local freshwater lake and city treated so its quite "clean" compared to some water sources my homes have had across the country (no pesticides, heavy metals, etc.); suffice it to say, its pretty good start with.Bottom line: Good...but I am going to give it a few days see if its great! ### ⭐ Product leacked *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2020* This item leaked. I removed, reinstalled and it still leaked. I removed and wiped the o-rings with some Vaseline and re-installed the filter....it leaked.Replaced with different brand water filter (B01CC7GT0S) and no leaks (and the water taste better).I also noticed this filter listing doesn't show the NSF ratings it is certified for.I'm done with this brand/item. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent filter *by R***M on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2020* This water filter fits fine and seems to work okay. It is my second experience with this brand and seller. I don’t believe the quality is quite as good as the original, but then, it is only half the price. The previous one lasted about 8 months before failing- very fine white particles appeared in the water and it took on a plastic taste. Changing the filter corrected the problem. Arrived quickly in a box inside a padded envelope in good condition. Previous one arrived slightly damaged (appeared to have been dropped or tossed in shipping), but the small broken chip didn’t affect installation or operation, so I didn’t return it.
