Do these come frozen or thawed?

I ordered mine in the summer and they were way beyond thawed-they were melting. Had to throw them out. They came in a styrofoam cooler with ice packs-quite a lot of non-recyclable packaging. Also, it took a long time to get to me. I asked them to resend, which they did, and this time the patties did arrive frozen. Since that experience was so wasteful I looked around for their options and found those same stacks of patties at Walmart, though they sell out quickly.
