Auch das Ankleben ans Fenster ist simpel, das anschließende verbinden durch Klettverschluss geht schnell, wenn man es einmal verstanden hat.

It’s a little bit awkward to set up on an outward opening window, there’s no getting away from that. And it’s not a perfect seal around the hole you leave for the hose. I’ve ended up rigging up gardening twine to go through the zips and around the hose to pull tight and keep it all snug against the hose. And more gardening twine tied to the frame above to pull the hose up so it’s not exerting pressure on the fabric and pulling it down. It’ll do for now until I can figure out a better solution. A good improvement would be an elasticated hole for the hose to go through, rather than the zips. I’ve managed to set it up in a way where I can close the window and secure it when I need to. Obviously I can not open the window fully now unless I remove it, and I just can’t face sticking it all up again, so it will stay in place for the summer. I went for a slightly smaller size rather than have miles of extra material hanging down, and I have used the excess tape to stick a strip of cardboard over the gap. So all in all not perfect by a long way, but a heck of a lot better than trying to rig something up myself. Despite the awkwardness, and with a few adjustments, it’s working as it should and I can make my room ice cold with the portable air conditioning unit I bought.

Installation : Comptez une bonne demi-heure de galère pour installer ce produit, le scratch colle très bien à la surface de bois peint. L'installation du tissu est très long et compliqué. Il est un poil trop long pour ma fenêtre mais pas un problème. Niveau largeur, c'est trop court, en effet, avec la largeur standard des montant bois de ma fenêtre, l'ouverture entre les deux battant permet à peine de faire passer le tuyau du climatiseur, en découle un problème de fermeture qui n'est pas optimal. on regrette le manque d'une manchette permette d'épouser parfaitement le tuyaux d'évacuation. Malgré tout, il ne semble pas y a avoir de fuite d'air, ce qui permet une dépression presque qu'optimal de la pièce.
