Thick and luxurious, a delicious hand cream that’s great for knees and elbows too. Aesop products are expensive but they deliver real quality. They are never greasy and feel lovely on my skin.

I've only been using the Resurrection hand cream for a few days now, but my formerly dry and peeling fingertips are now smooth, as are my cuticles -- no additional cuticle creams or treatments required! The backs of my hands were never dry -- I've just had fairly recent issues with peeling fingertips and toughening cuticles, which was perplexing, because I'm not doing manual labor or exposing my hands to harsh chemicals. This hand cream is very effective, and a pea-size amount is plenty to thoroughly moisturize my hands and massage into my cuticles. So though not inexpensive, it provides great value, as the size of the tube is fairly generous, and should last for many applications. The cream truly does absorb quickly, so I don't have to wipe my fingertips on a tissue after applying it, which means my fingers -- and not the tissue -- are getting the benefit of the cream. As for the scent, I was hoping the mandarin rind would be more pronounced, but the herbaceous notes seem to be more predominant. However, the more I use it, the more I enjoy the fragrance. My normal preference is for hand treatments that have some anti-aging properties, but none of them helped alleviate the dry fingertip issues, so they were never an all-in-one solution. If I want to add some anti-aging oomph, I can just apply the same serums (vitamin C/peptides/antioxidants) I use on my face to the backs of my hands before using the Aesop cream, then adding a sunscreen if I'm going to be outdoors or driving. TWO-WEEK UPDATE: A case of diminishing returns. For many people, trying new skincare products can lead to unexpected, unpleasant side effects. Perversely, my skin is the opposite, and seems to love new products and responds positively after initial use, but then the benefits seem to diminish. That was the case for this hand cream as well. After the first 10 days, my fingertips and cuticles didn't look or feel sufficiently hydrated/moisturized, and appeared dry again. But I'm grateful for the early positive results, as this cream got rid of the peeling issues that had been bothering me for the past few years. Now, my usual hand/body moisturizer seems to be working better for my hands than the Resurrection cream. So I probably won't buy it again, though it was worth every penny in that it healed my dry/peeling fingertips. Instead, I'll invest my skincare budget in Aesop's fabulous facial and body exfoliators.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Luxurious Hand Balm with a Great Scent, but Pricey The Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm feels luxurious and smells amazing — a fresh, herbal scent that’s not too overpowering. It absorbs quickly and leaves my hands soft without feeling greasy. The travel-size tube is perfect for my bag or desk, and a little goes a long way. I love the natural ingredients like sweet almond and macadamia nut oil, which really help with dry skin. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price — it’s definitely a splurge for the size. Still, if you’re into high-quality skincare, it’s a beautiful treat!

Have used this hand cream for years and it’s the best. The price is a little pricey but worth it and smells wonderful, it feels like a spa experience. Happy that Amazon carries it.
