Great product but one star off for coming out with a thicker, higher temp version [at twice price] almost immediately after I ordered multiple as gifts.I, and friends used these mats and though it takes some experience, they work wonderfully.They say not over direct heat and show on the product cover a picture that is seemingly just so. Just what is direct heat??????They say to 500 deg. but what happens after? Mat disintegrates, food gets poisoned, or what.I have run my Weber at 450 and had great success because I have been careful. But my friend does not have an internal temp gage [is that enough or is it at grill level] and is not careful. What can happen? To him or our families if we eat overheated mat food?Not trying to be negative but careful. OK. Thanks

They work *exactly* as advertised! I cooked a rather large load of vegetables - zucchini and yellow squash, onions and bell peppers - all in about twenty minutes, with stunning results; the advantages of the grill mat were obvious from the beginning: superior heat distribution, *total* non-stick performance, and a smooth-as-glass surface which accommodated my large grill spatula quite nicely. When the veggies were done, I laid on some swai and tilapia filets which were perfectly done in a matter of minutes.This product is going to get a *lot* more usage in the near future!

Excellent Purchase. Mats are ready to use right out of the box.I use them to cook frozen and non-frozen "chicken breasts" only.I follow the suggestions on the bag of chicken breasts (from Costco)and cook for 10-15 minutes on one side, before turning them overand cooking a few more minutes on the other side. Spices adhereto the chicken breasts, and don't fall off when using the mats. Breastscome out excellent. Can't say anything negative about the mats.

Saw an ad on TV and took a chance buying these. The reviews were positive so I thought what the heck. We took the mats on vacation with us. I knew the grills at the resort were the campground grills that are dirty and usually you have to do the wrap foil on the grill before you use. My father and brother looked at me like I was an idiot when I brought these out. We started the coals and placed the mat on top, the food cooked perfectly and the mats didn't burn up at all. When we finished grilling, I walked inside put some soap on the sponge and wiped all the sauce and juices off in one pass. I now know what I am buying as gifts for Christmas. I would recommend this product to anyone..

I don't know how I ever grilled without this amazing product before. Its so easy to clean afterwards too! I love it!

Works well but is a little harder to clean than I expected still saves me from cleaning the grill.

we are hoping for a break in the weather to use it, but once we do, I am sure it will be used daily.
