Easy fix
Replacing this motor is very easy and straightforward. This is a much less expensive fix considering materials and labor with a few minutes of work instead of a few hours required to replace the whole unit.

Worked like a charm
Easy to install and work without issues. Highly recommend.

Identical to original motor.
Works perfectly. If the two connecting wires were push-on instead of soldered, it would save some assembly time.

Easy Do It Yourself Repair
This item was very easy to install. Since I was replacing an existing Intermatic pool timer motor, I shut off the power breaker to my timer box. I removed the protective panel and wire guard. To make sure I was connecting the correct wire to the correct terminal, I left the wires to the bad motor attached to the terminals and only removed the two screws that held the motor to the timer. I carefully let the bad motor suspend by the wires and installed the two screws mounting the new motor to the timer board. I started with one wire from the bad motor, traced it to the terminal, and removed the wire from the bad motor from the terminal. I then identified the same wire and position on the new motor and attached the wire to the terminal position where I just loosed the wire and tightened it. I repeated the process for the second wire and then installed the protective guard and panel and turned the breaker back on. I could immediately hear the timer motor working and followed the steps to set the timer to the proper time. Super easy and straightforward to install.

Easy to replace
I thought I’d have to replace my whole pool timer module, but the motor was easy to remove and replace. All I did was switch off at the panel so there was no juice to the unit, then the guts of the timer un clipped and slid out (kind of lift it upwards and then pull the top towards you), and a couple of torx head screws to remove the old motor. I had to swap over two wires from the old motor to the new, and then reassemble, power back on and works like a champ
