I sent questions to several sellers about this and similar products. This seller was the first to respond. This scale does not need a small screwdriver to open the battery cover. The cover tab slides off when needed. Seller also enclosed a second battery. Convenient and at ready to have for the future.. Lastly, although I didn't have a full luggage, the scale was tested with a brand new empty large carry Travelpro carry-on. The weight on scale matched the weight per the luggage tag. While I didn't want to spend time packing the luggage, it was a good first impression until my next trip.

Very handy for future flights
