Since I loved Flume's early work, I was very excited to hear his next effort, even more so after he released 'Never Be Like You'. I just can't get over how all the songs are so different but follow the same theme of 'skin', of being who you are, of maybe being uncomfortable with it. Even the somewhat syncopated beats he lays under beautiful vocals echoes this. My only gripe is that desertcart sold me a beautiful album (and the artwork involved in the Limited Edition Vinyl is truly beautiful) with an imperfection in the cover (see the photo). And since desertcart is the vendor, it's hard to "contact the seller" to complain. If you display vinyl covers (and this one deserves to be displayed) as artwork, buy this from a record store where you can inspect the cover before receiving it. I've had issues with desertcart selling me new records with ripped inner sleeves, but never damaged outer sleeves. I'm annoyed. But I love the record enough to not want to give it up... Update: I got in touch with desertcart through their regular customer service. They were very responsive and very helpful. I could have gotten a replacement album, but chose a discount instead.
