A Bit Snug, at First!
I usually wear a size 10 WIDE. These only come in medium width so, upon reading the reviews (run small), I opted to get a 10.5 and hoped. When they came (yesterday) and I first put them on, I thought "nope, too narrow/small" but I loosened up the laces some and gave it another go. Not so bad. Tried the elliptical this morning, which is why I bought them - to try and reduce foot pain on this machine - and, low and behold, once I had them on for a bit, they didn't seem small after all! I think they just need to be worn a bit first. LOVE how very lightweight they are and my foot pain was cut in about half what it was in other shoes. So, all in all, I think they're going to work. They do have more support under the arch, which feels a bit odd at first but I think that arch support is exactly what I needed to reduce the pain I was feeling on the outer side of my left foot. Figures, more support on one side, eases the pressure on the opposite side. Yeah! So my final suggestion, if they feel a bit too tight at first, give 'em a little time and see if it doesn't loosen up a bit as you go. Did for me! Still, wish they'd come in WIDE!

I have happy feet again
I am a 63 year old who power walks about two miles six days a week. My previous pair of walking shoes were Saucony Kinvara 5. They were lightweight and comfortable but after about 7 months my feet started hurting after my walks. I wore Dr. Scholl's inserts for arthritic feet with these shoes, which I only used for my power walks, and replaced them but my feet continued to hurt after my walks for the remainder of the day. I had worn down most of my left heel and thought I should replace those shoes. I didn't want the exact same shoes because of the foot problems. I researched on Amazon and several people with foot problems recommended these. There appears to be more heel protection with these than with the Kinvara 5 but they continue to be flexible and lightweight. I use the Dr. Scholl's arthritis inserts with these and I have happy feet again. I wear these only for my power walks. I do my walks and have no trouble walking the remainder of the day. I have to buy a half size larger for both this shoe and the Kinvara 5; so Saucony seems to consistently run a half size small. I had to work a bit to get the correct lacing tension because I was losing circulation in my feet at first, but once I found the right tension they have been great. My Kinvara's wore out quickly and these might too because they are lightweight, but I am willing to risk that for happy feet.

See picture! Fit as expected! Similar to the Saucony Fastwitch...lighter than the Saucony Cohesion.
Let me begin by tell you that I love the Saucony brand and they are my go to brand for sneakers. I am that jeans and sneakers kind of person who actually needs to wear sneakers due to a foot injury I sustained. I love my Fastwitch and then the Cohesion by Saucony. I saw these and thought I'd give them a try! They fit as expected and found them to be as comfortable as my other Saucony's. I did not order a half size up as others have suggested. They fit exactly as my Fastwitch and a smidge smaller than my Cohesion, if you are familiar with either of these by Saucony. The colors are bright and happy (See picture below!). Great price point on these! I purchased them because I couldn't afford to replace my Saucony Fastwitch this week! I love them! I am happy to have found something else I can wear on my feet! Now I need to find a pair in orange!

Speed booster
I am absolutely in love with this shoe! Considering how little it weighs, it is actually amazingly comfortable and provides a lot more support and cushioning that you would think. The best thing about it, is if this is your first time going with a lightweight shoe (like it was for me) the speed burst you gain is unbelievable! I improved my 5K time by 2 minutes because it was a lot easier to run up hill at a faster pace. It did take me a couple of runs to get fully used to the shoe, and I did get a few aches I didn't use to have the first time I wore them, they all went away the second run. I actually think that the aches were because I was able to get a longer stride going in the shoe, and also was able to run longer intervals (I do interval training run/walk).I recommend this shoe if you are a neutral runner with no need for extra support, because you do feel the impact of the ground a little more with this than a shoe with a thicker and heavier sole, but the benefits that I am seeing form the shoe make it absolutely worth every penny

cushy
I purchased these from Amazon after finding them in stores. I previously ran in a pair of Asics gel running shoe, extra cushioning support, but still a for a neutral runner. I am new to running, novice at determining which shoe to buy for my needs. After researching fit and style that best should suit me I made this purchase of the Saucony Virrata 2. I am very pleased with these. I've only put a couple miles on them yet, but they are wonderful. SO very light and airy, and when my foot comes down i feel the cushioning which you would think ISN'T there because they're so light. But they seem to be built just right. I tried on several styles of shoe and had the Guide 7 picked out as well, and a couple Asics, plus one Nike, but this Virrata simply felt amazing from the first slip on. I love the bright colors and just hope the materials hold up for the miles I intend to put on them. I'm an intermediate runner and plan to run a few 5Ks yet this year.

Senior citizen loving these sneakers...
I live in Boston and have 2 dogs that love to be out walking with me. I am 70 and have some back and knee issues and need to do a lot of walking In recent months I have purchased many brands of sneakers. I now wear sneakers every day. I want good quality shoes but am also very style conscious and like my sneakers to coordinate with my clothes and handbags. This pair is my favorite and are widely admired. They are colorful but not outrageous. They are extremely comfortable enabling me to wear them all day/evening. The toe box is not too pointy and not overly round, just right. I thought I was a size 9 but every single pair of sneakers have been a 9.5. Because of a tendency to overpronate I do have to put inserts in all my sneakers. The arch support in this shoe may be okay for most people but I always need the inserts. I also purchased some additional laces: lime green and also deep pink so that I can change the look.

I have another pair of these in a 6UK and they are slightly better I think
I normally wear a 5.5UK running shoe, so got these, but I think Saucony's might come up a little smaller than other brands. I have another pair of these in a 6UK and they are slightly better I think.
