Works perfect on 16 year old Acer Laptops
I would have to say that this was the easiest memory install that I every had. Usually when I have to upgrade memory, I normally have to install one module at a time to get the system to recognize the timing of the new memory. But this memory was a piece of cake. I installed both modules and that laptop booted right up like nothing happened. For being a 16 year old Acer Aspire 5552, I was really surprised that the memory would work perfect first try. The laptop originally came with Windows 7 preinstalled but I couldn't stand how slow it was, so I format the drive and installed Windows XP on it to make it run faster. Now I'm running Fedora 33 Linux and it runs circles around all versions of windows that I had before.

I put these inside a 2012 Toshiba Satellite L755 with Intel i3 4 core processor and replaced the HD with a 1TB SSD. The 8 Gb of RAM means You Tube's voracious appetite for RAM doesn't bring my favorite laptop to its knees. No complaints so far a couple of weeks in. Great price. Good performance. Compatibility fine. Major performance improvement.
