The kit comes with everything you need to get started—including a nice selection of paints—and it’s easy to customize with extras like glitter or stick-on gems (which we added for a little extra magic).A few things to keep in mind: the “wand” is really just a basic wooden stick, so don’t expect anything ornate. But once the air-dry clay is molded around it and painted, it transforms into a magical creation that kids are so proud of. The clay does take several hours to dry, so we made up the wand shapes ahead of time and let the kids paint and decorate them during the party, which worked perfectly.While it’s not a high-end craft kit, for the price, it’s a fantastic value—easy to use, super fun, and great for a variety of ages.
