Very nice and not so big that you can't easily put them wherever you want. Realistic looking. I got them specifically to put on outdoor speakers that birds keep repeatedly nesting on. The quality seems good and like they'll hold up. They have a little weight to them, but not too much. There is a removable piece in the bottom so you could add sand or river rock if you wanted them to be heavier so they don't topple over. No assembly required, so great. They seem to be functional and ready to do the job for which I intend. They came packaged in tight cellophane, so easy to unbundle.

The quality is great. Very good detail. But it doesn’t work. I hung three of them in my carport. The birds land right next to them. The bird nest are horrible.

They were a little small - my bad that I didn't measure before ordering. Two are hanging from the fence and one has rocks in it to move around. They are supposed to keep the ducks out of the pool but the ducks just laughed at these little guys. They still look cute around the pool and we will just have to find something else that works.

They simply don’t work. They were good quality construction, but they don’t work on birds not the birds. I had the ones that built mud nest on the side of your home. I think they call a morals or something like that. No good for that. They land on the should.

The Owls did not deterred the birds on my porch.

These are good quality owls, useful to deter birds. Just fill them up with sand, rocks, or other heavy objects to keep them from tipping over. The birds were pecking at the fruit on my trees, and stealing cat/dog food from my pets' bowls on the front porch. I don't mind sharing the pet food, but they were making terrible poopy messes on my porch rail. It's very important to frequently move the owls! The birds get accustomed to the owls and figure out they're not real. The owls aren't foolproof, but they do help deter the birds along with other tactics I use such as moving the pets' bowls to different area of the porch, hanging windchimes from the fruit tree limbs, attaching fake fruit to the fruit trees, and frequently repositioning toy rubber snakes. I also purchased the more expensive bobble head owl for my retired neighbor to protect his vegetable garden - it works great but he frequently moves it and, as I mentioned, it cost quite a bit more.

After some major disappointment seeing that rabbits had gotten to my vegetable garden, I decided to try these before taking any more drastic measures. I zip tied them to some old tiki torch posts, which was easy to assemble. They are lightweight, so should be able to be installed almost anywhere. Within days, I could tell the difference. My plants weren't getting chewed up anymore! I placed these on 3 sides of my garden facing outward. I loved seeing the rabbits in my yard, just not in my garden! These did the trick... I still get to watch the rabbits, but I don't have to watch them enjoying what should be MY harvest! I have had these for a few months and they are still keeping the critters away from the garden area of my yard. These owls don't look tacky or cheap, they are vibrant and bright. They are functional, but also decorative too. They are sized in line with what a real owl would look like. Each owl is unique, too. Great purchase and an easy, harmless way to keep the critters away from my garden but not run them off and deny me of the joy of getting to watch them in my yard. A win/win in my book!
